  • bunch of retards hating on this video..... obviously she's doing an advertisment for HP, and if you dummies dont already know HP doesn't make DSLRs. This video is geared towards soccer moms wanting to capture their kids.

  • This is no rookie production.

  • I am a "pro" i take pictures with my shit point and shoot camera...

  • I'd delete this video. Complete waste of time. You say you're a PRO. Fuck, shamefull for all of us.

  • Too vague and basic..too undirected..who is your audience..and many point and shoots do not fire fast enough even with half pressed shutter button

  • quit yammering about gears and statuses. she's a mom, and she's a photographer. pro or not, its no big deal. photography nowadays is turning into a wild pool of pride, prejudices, and arrogance, not to mention gear-obsessiveness. no matter what gear one has, it doesn't matter. and yes, this is an advert for HP, so what? she did her job very well. i may be a canon user, but i respect her, and her efforts in presenting the video. everybody can be a professional photographer.

  • @N6600 i do agree. i have gotten good photos with my cell phone. but p&s cameras are more luck to be honest. when im trying to get good photos with them i have to shoot about 20 times until im satisfied. i don't have a good "professional" camera but at least i have the options of manual focus and stuff. with that i usually only need to shoot once to get the shot i want.

  • action mode!!! hahahahaha hahaha

And she says at the beginning that she''s a professional

    hahaha hahahaha hahaaaaa!!

  • what is this shit -_-

  • With all due respect, professional photographers DON'T use action mode.....they choose their setting manually. Point-n-shoot camera....are you serious?

  • @10fourty1 they dont all use manual

  • Good Stuff!

  • ypur shit

  • this is useless

  • :))

  • Action mode?? hahahahaha

  • wow i didn't know i was back in kindergarten..

  • wow. contrast detect autofocus for sports. forget the 1DMKIV 45 point AF. contrast detect af ftw. NOT.

  • Maybe she wanted to show people its the photographer not the equipment!!!

Doh or is that to easy for you guys,

    PS Thanks Mom

  • at 2:40, the kid's smile is so inspiring, tears slightly began pouring down my eyes. reminds me of the simplest things that makes me happy...

  • definately not a pro photographer with that camera.

  • have you seen the HP logo at the beginning and at the end and have you also seen, that she is using a HP camera...this is just a commercial...I'm sure, that she normaly uses a professional DSLR

  • hi, my mom gave me the sony alpha 200 Im starting to take photo for a local teen magazine. I really need some new cheap and good lenses for sport photography . Please help me get the correct lenses....

  • @graffsax Cheap and good don't go together. If you're shooting out doors, you might be able to get away with the cheapest zoom lens they have, the 55 - 200 f 4 - 5.6, which costs $200. If you're shooting in low light, you're gonna need a bigger aperture. The 70 - 200 f 2.8 is awesome, but it costs $1800.

  • whatever she says in the video actually make sense...I don't know what you ppl are talking about...

"no pro D-SLR or cute words used"...it is a shame to think that pro photos only come from D-SLR. Compact cameras can do a lot. Taking pics is just like painting. Why a simple brush and a few colors can create a great painting? I think the tips she mentioned in the videos are pretty inspiring for amature photographers. Even tho I am not a fan of HP cameras at all I still like these tips.

  • bahahahahahhaha

  • lol fail!

  • Well, her user name IS 'Mom' photographer...

  • lol real sports photographers don't have words like cute and adorable in their vocabulary. And who frames their photos in a csequence like that? That's just ridiculous :D

  • omg FAIL

  • She calls herself a professional fotographer and doesn't use a DSLR for her sport-fotography???

To me this looks like an damned commercial...

  • She isn`t a pro photographer , she tell you how to make good photos with a simple camera....OMG

  • look at beginning she saidhi as a mom and a pro photographer

  • @ilovephotoshop What if she is a pro photographer? Being pro is about taking awesome pictures! Not what you shoot with.

  • she probably has a real camera too

  • shutter lag sports photography----too funny

  • she cant possibly be a photographer. the way she's holding the camera tells me that she's an actor casted for hp, as "shaglavin" posted. And why isnt she using a dslr? she probably havent used a camera before.

  • Good stuff - I'll pass this along to all my newsletter subscribers.

  • I'm photographer for 40 years and one thing is sure , she's a professional. If you don't see the difficulty of the work she do, you don't understand anything from photography.

    That's perfect working.

  • she is just an actor cast for hp

  • It's not the camera, it's the photographer...

Not that I'm implying that she is indeed a professional photographer!

  • l,oloololololololol

  • how about you do a non HP clip and use an slr... then we'll see how professional you are..

  • A P&S are you serious?

    Goooood Luck

  • your no profession photographer you piece of shit

  • hey now this is very good.. keep it up

  • LOL....I found that entertaining to say the MOST. Probably useful tips for the P&S soccer mom crowd. And she may want to research shutter lag because her use of the line and explanation are off base.

    1D MKII

  • Your honestly a pro photographer? And your tipping us on capturing a game with a P&S which shoots about 1fps...

  • i love how at 1:53, the kid missed

  • "Bust mode.. Typically take SEVERAL pictures in a quick.."

"Bust mode.. Typically take SEVERAL pictures in a quick.."

  • D40 FTW!

  • omg...

  • Sports photography with a P&S?

    Good luck with that

  • @Roivee just a big fat advert for HP aint it

  • @Roivee

The photographer takes the photo, not the camera. You can make very awesome shots with a point&shoot, or even with your iPhone camera.
