im lvl atm and only have enough turpentine for 3 trolls, unfortunately ive made a save in a horrible part if the mission, and figured and easy way of doing if i hadnt used my turpentine yet :@ i disagree with every one and dislike this mission, their stupidly hard.

I remember doing this quest, and since I was feeling especially lazy, I just used invisibility and snuck past them :b trolls are a real pain to fight.

I did this Quest at Level 1 or 2 and was absolutely destroyed by the Trolls every Time I tried it..finally I had to lower the Difficulty..

I'm stuck on this damn level! I'm only a level 4 custom class and have used up all 5 turpetine potions on the first three trolls! It is a beautiful level, shame I can't get any father in it. :(

What level are you? I'm trying to get my level 1 to complete the Mages Guild as fast as possible, or do I have to level up?

On the guy inn this video I'm lvl 12 or so atm, but on my highest it's 30 or so. and most things inn oblivion is leveled so I don't think you should have too much of a problem.

I loved this quest, the painted landscape is beautiful. Too bad I can only go there once per character; maybe next time I'll make a save just so I can do this quest whenever I wish. <3

yeah, and it makes a difference but only for one hit. But for some reason, I always still get pwned.

hey do you know how to get past the bug? i mean it looked like he did something but the portal never showed up or anything and now hes just standing there doing nothing

Did you try and talk to him while he was making the portal? that can trigger that bug, just reload, don't think there's any other option, except if your on pc you can port out, but then you can't complete the quest.

i tried reloading but it kept bugging i waited till he did his portal thingy then afterwards nothing happend so i talked to him and all he says is no time to talk lets head back i restarted oblivion cause it wouldnt stop getting bugged ...

make multiple saves, that way you can load a previus one if you screw up or your game does. Try doing the quest again, just save before you start it and don't overwrite the save, may have been something with your char.
