I just watched it and thought to myself that alot of people have the ability to sing like this, and just wondered why people seem to give him a status of that, that has never been reached before. man i've heard him hit notes i never even knew existed. he has so much power, yet he has one of the most amazing ranges i've ever heard. he really is something special man. he's different. i'll admit that this song doesnt really represent his ability, but it is his best one to me and a lot of his fans. i have all of his work with Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa, Isles & Glaciers, and even his band when he was 15 called westerHALTS and another when he was 16 called Ghost Runner On Third. He's great.

Its possible for someone to be a good singer without lessons. Anyone could learn how to sing. hes lucky he has a good set of vocal cords. Most people want to be singers, but the diff. is some people feel it and hear it better.

I disagree, look at dallas green, to my knowledge he has nevertaken a vocal lesson and his an amazing singer with amazing pitching.

And teaching yourself to sing isnt that hard, im sure anyone if determined enough could learn to sing just as good if not better then jonny, although he does have an amazing voice.

@22Harvey22 the best comparison ive heard for jonny is christina aguilera. in terms of technique. she never took lessons as a kid and you can hear how big of a voice she had at an early age. some people just have "it." both jonny and dallas have denied taking vocal lessons. i would agree that dallas doesn't have a very impressive voice. it's cool, but not impressive in technique whatsoever. jonny naturally does, and that's just something you don't want to accept huh?
