Only man has the power to deal with other members of his own species by voluntary means: rational persuasion and a code of morality rather than physical force. To claim that man's use of animals is immoral is to claim that we have no right to our own lives and that we must sacrifice our welfare for the sake of creatures who cannot think or grasp the concept of morality. It is to elevate amoral animals to a moral level higher than ourselves—a flagrant contradiction.
@oJKBo The fact that animals have no sense of morality has no basis on how we should treat them. We can be moral creatures, and our "code of morality" should include not inflicting unnecessary harm on other creatures. From your statement I take it you believe it is perfectly moral to torture a dog. After all, dogs are not moral beings, so taking away my right to torture them is infringing on my right to my own life!
@StumblyWumbly1 to torture a dog is neither moral nor immoral. To survive man must use all resources available...if overcrowding animals increases productivity for example, more meat gets to the market improving peoples lives. 'animal rights' is nothing more than man hatred. 'torturing' a rat by testing products on it is simply sensible. Why in the world would you test such products on humans? As the only beings on this earth man can do with animals as he wishes. Pain does not grant rights
We would also survive if we would not use the "resources" to the most, it would simply mean a bit less profit but a better life for the animals!! I am from Austria and 20 % of our farmers are organic farmers, I would only ever support and buy food that comes from those kind of farms because I know that the animals are treated in a way that is "humain"......I am prepared to pay a little more, know that the qualitiy is MUCH better and also that the animals are treated well.
@SiggyStern survival is not the same as productivity, If you like organic foods better than non organic that is fine, but not all people like to pay extra or like the taste. Animals have no right to be treated 'humanely', they are not human. Their ability to feel pain does not grant them the right to this treatment. Only humans with the ability to use rationality, reason, and logic, have the right to be treated humanely. Animals are not human and should not be treated like them
@oJKBo@oJKBo You genuinely believe there is nothing immoral about torturing a dog? That's pretty twisted. You seem to view animals as being basically equivalent to inanimate objects. Like kicking a cat is no worse than kicking a rock. I don't know what your experience is being around animals, but I can tell you that they are thinking, feeling beings even though they don't experience the world exactly as we do.
You say "pain does not grant rights". I'm curious know what does grant rights
@StumblyWumbly1 there is NOTHING immoral about it--however sick and repulsive it may be. My experience with animals is that I have 2 west highland white terriers--one being epileptic. Would I ever hurt my animals? No, because it does not bring me joy or happiness and I would beat down anyone who did hurt MY dogs. But, an animal can reason as much as a rock can, therefore their rights do not exist. Rights are exclusive to man because rights come from morality--something also exclusive to man
@StumblyWumbly1 I suppose as a supporter of animal 'rights' you support the abolition of testing anything on animals and would prefer they test such things on humans--You environmentalists and animal 'rights' activists are nothing more than haters of mankind and of its success and productivity. If you truly believe cattle have more rights than an ant or spider, you clearly have no idea what morality is, where it comes from, and to whom it belongs--MAN
The question is how much of the testing is really necessary, tests that have already been made a thousand times by many different firms are done again,so you can put the label "new formular"on it L 50 tests = you give animals something to eat or injected and see how much of it is needed that it proves Lethal to them and you do so until 50 % are dead ?? There is a lot of "no cruelty to animal" products it IS possible, and much testing done on animals cannot be made "working" for humans
"You environmentalists and animal 'rights' activists are nothing more than haters of mankind and of its success and productivity"
=do you really see people who care that not more cruelty than is needed is administered and who would care that we are not destroying our environment (by making the industry use filters and reduce poison) as haters of human kind ?? I am really astonished,I do not think that you would say that you are a hater, just because you think of people thinking
@SiggyStern You treat man as if he is the bane of the earth--an unnatural phenomenon, The only reason to preserve the environment is to ensure mankind's existence--destroying the forests and habitats of other animals is necessary. Humankind, as the only moral beings bearing rights, must constantly produce, to move away from nature. To live amongst nature as animals is to be animals. Unlike beasts, man can form his world around how he wants to live. You hate how man destroys the earth--
With this attitude you will live through your generation, and maybe the next, but you seem to be a follower on "I am man, I am the lord and I can do what I want" you should look more around you because Earth does not tolerate our behaviour anymore........I don´t know how it is in your part of the world, but here things are chaning a lot...........you live the dream of a "conquerer" but we are not so VIP as you might think!
differently to yourself, but be sure that non of those who express a wish to make live more bearable also for animals (and it is possible) is a hater, for that is the opposite of what we are we care!......Productivity and success are good, but not at the price that animals have to suffer because you safe space (and thus reduce costs) in transporting them in vans that are too small for them, or treat them in a way that is not necessarily cruel, and you do not because it would cost
@SiggyStern If you want to purchase animal meat from animals treated 'humanely', go ahead, but it is disgusting that you believe you have the moral high-ground from which you can command man on how he should treat the environment.
Why do you take it so pesonal that I would say that it would be good if we would look that we only eat meat that is of animals that a are treated better than the others,?? I do not see myself on "higher ground" at all, I know what demand makes, if more people want to buy such meat there will also be ´farmers who will feel that they want to supply just that (it will be more profitable for them)=they can ask for slighlty more, and the animals are also the benefiters
there IS a hell of a difference in meat quality if you eat it of an animal that was restricted and ill treated all his life or had time on the fields and run free.....I know it is more expensive, but quality is far to be ahead of quantitiy.....to eat healthier meat less often or meat of stressed and filled up with many antipiotics and chemicals would make a difference, don´t you think?
3) a bit more of the money and thus make it less profitable for you, money is important but not at the cost of unnecessary cruelty to creatures who cannot defend themselves and simply have to
endureyou love your dogs I can see that,so what do you say that they are taken from you because they need some more animals for potential lethal tests, would you give them and say ok,it is for sience and as much as I like them they are only animals?I think you would prevent it,I too try to prevent
@SiggyStern If someone stole my dogs it would be theft--I have every right to prevent people from doing harm to MY animals--to MY property, but i have NO right to force change upon another man's use of his property.
I am not talking about theft or not, you said that for human kind everything is permitted, and as you do not grand animals any right to well being (as much as you love your dogs) they would not have to be stolen from you,if science asks this of you,for the wellbeing of human kind,by your own logic you would give your dogs to them, and you will know that by doing so you will not see them again, they will be used for (often usless tests) and killed but it is ok, they are "just" dogs!see?
@SiggyStern I would not give my animals for science, first dogs arent exactly used for anything other than pets, and 2) because of man's right to property no institution can steal animals and use them for testing--the animals tested on are properties of those doing the testing
You close your eyes ojKBo, of course dogs are used for tests an many of them! Dogs are used as pets,as food! and as test animals.....I wish they would only be used for pets but they are not......many people share your thoughts that animals have no rights, so they are killed for food in asian countries and laboratories ARE using dogs..........but as you like to mention science (for human advancement and gain) is to be above all,for sure more important than the wellbeings of mere dogs
@SiggyStern They are humans who would like to increase their well being and that of others by testing products on animals rather than humans. And dogs are rarely tested on because they are not like humans--primates and rats are primarily tested. As owners of the dogs the testers may do whatever they wish with them.
@oJKBo What I am saying is that many tests are unnecessary! Exactly the same tests have been done again and again!!! How often to you have repeat a test with the same results to know what the results are? It is pain to many for nothing !! Yes humans can do whatever they want to animals because they are "stronger" but I say just because they can, does not mean that all they do has to be cruel..many tests on animals by now could be replaced by non animal testing, but it is an industry,it is gain
@StumblyWumbly1 Eny unique and rare things, humans , animals or any caind of objects have frst priority to have eny rights wich will achive his/it existance. What you have written here in response is exactly how I feel too. What I miss is,that we humans often have no respect for other creatures,it is the circle of life that there is life and death, but it should not be that animals are treated really badly from the moment they are born, their well being not conisdered, and how they live or die to be of no concern for us,as long as the money is right in the end! Humanity should also mean, that one cares that nothing suffers unnecessarily
@deadithink i just said that people are quite ... evil ... did you see vid when some employers sting cows with dung-forks?? i've saw it before this so maybe i was a little overreacting but thats horrible!....
These "animal rights" people are loony tunes!! There's no such thing as animal rights. Do animals have freedom of speech? Can animals own property? initiate lawsuits; the rights of due process and equal protection of the laws? Read the Bill of Rights. An animal rights advocate might exhibit a mild personality disorder typified by excessive anxiety or indecision and a degree of social or interpersonal maladjustment. Also psychoneurosis is common among animal rights advocates. Seek help people!!
Have any of you ever been to a dairy farm or seen any type of operation? I have lived on my family's 3rd generation dairy farm all my life and none of crap you're accusing us of has ever happened on my farm. Quit being a bunch of negative nancy's and do some research on real, American Family Farms and you might change your antagonistic attitudes!
@emevans6102 Yes I worked around livestock operations for years and visited dozens of operations, including many small family dairy farms. Large or small, the purpose of every dairy farm is to use cows to produce as much milk as they can until they become unprofitable. This is done by repeatedly making them pregnant. Once they are no longer profitable, typically around 5 years old, the cows are killed. A cow's natural lifespan would be about 20 years. These are the realities of dairy farming.
I,m sure that the slave holders said the very same things, we now view those who exploit fellow humans as morally disabled. The same will be true of those who enslave and trade in animals.
It will take time and a lot of hard work and campaigning to help people understand that animals are made to suffer in modern farming, but AR guys are up to it!.
And when these mothers are repeatedly impregnated, what do you do with all the calves? You sell the babies to be chopped up. The dairy industry directly supports the VEAL industry. Humans are animals too. All animals have rights. Someday your bloodline will look back in horror and wonder how anyone could have committed such horrifying crimes. They'll pray that their ancestors weren't a part of it.
@StumblyWumbly1 I have been born and raised in animal agriculture all my life. My family's dairy farm has been in the family for 3 generations now. We have never mistreated our animals. And trust me if we were in the business to make money, we wouldn't be in the business because our bottom line is very small. Yes there are some larger operations who have abused the sanctity of raising animals but many farmers and ranchers cannot make money without healthy, happy animals. Do some research!
Hello.I commented earlier. But sometimes I feel no one hears me,so I come here with this other channel,,jus in case. What I have to say is important.I NEED 2B HEARD! People. Can you hear me?I may not be speaking directly to you,but I am speaking to someone that needs to hear me & Pay ATTENTION. Share this video w/your friends. You may touch someone TODAY and had you not risked this share, how could you, or me,even possibly sleep? A picture speaks ONE THOUSAND WORDS.
A friend invited me today and I was led to this video. This person was the first comment I read and this video is the first for me to view, as I wake up this Sunday morning. Continue onward. We have much work yet to do. And thank you so much for your presence here on YT and never give up on our Animals. Thank you. Mary
u idiots, if it werent for animal testing, and rat testing, we;d have no cure for diseases, and we'd be so far behind medically, a disease like swine flu would have wiped out the entire population. thats one. 2, i love beef, chicken and meat, and i consume them all the time. mmm YUMMY CUT THE BEEF UP NICE AND WELL DONE FOR ME
you have beLIEved the lies... it is because of the animal testing, mixing animal dna into vaccines and such that have caused the diseases... you probably were in one of those lines for a swine flu shot... do you even know what was in it??
the information is out there... might want to do some research before their next "SAVE THE DAY" shot...
You guys are a bunch of uneducated hippies. Animal agriculture doesn't torture the livestock and poultry that it raises. The animals are perfectly fucking happy. If you stress an animal it will not perform, and would not produce as well. Millions of dollars are spent to treat these animals as well as possible, and keep them happy. If you had a clue about animal agriculture you'd know how big of an idiot you are.
@kvnpry74 Actually I have worked for several years around animal agriculture and the idea that animals will only produce if they are "happy" is absurd. We have a system that maximizes production and minimizes costs, it has nothing to do with the well-being of the animal. Farmers worry about making money and animals are just the machines that generate their revenue. So they keep the costs of maintaining those machines as low as possible.
You should proof your theory and become the "Führer" of your own family. Put them in a cage and make them fu**ing happy! Rearing animals is a crime and you are just a piece of rotten meat, a shame for the human race! Nazi scumbag!
@SweetJudith12345 I don't think so, I'm a pretty happy guy but thanks for the encouragement. Plus, I have a question. Did you know that toothpaste, shampoo, most cosmetics, and (my favorite that most people don't know) plastics and rubber all have animal products in them? So if my soul is dead for eating meat then every single vegan that has a computer or drive a car or brush there teeth has a dead soul. ;)
We spill no blood and we use all vegan products, makeup, toothpaste, shampoo, etc, you poor baby, you're reaching and not getting anything in return. You're hysterical.. Bless your heart...Our minds are so very far ahead of yours, but that's alright sweetie, Your mind is slow but that's what happens to meat eaters.. Once again dear, you have a dark heart and an even darker soul, and will continue becoming darker, day by day,,,,, Hang in there sweetie....
@SweetJudith12345 But you do use PLASTICS and RUBBER that is if you DRIVE or use a COMPUTER which you obviously do by the way did you know that thousand of animals are killed by the mass production of grains like for instance field mice and rabbits and I don't think that you can get around it vegan or not animals have to die for you. Plus if your vegan products come in a plastic container then it kinda contradict itself.
@imfarmraised You are right that many every day products contain animal products. But the point of veganism is to eliminate the use of animal products as much as possible. I can't help it if there are animal products in my tires. But I can choose not to eat animals or wear their skin. In our society it isn't possible to eliminate all animal products from our lives, but we eliminate what we can.
@StumblyWumbly1 I understand and can respect that but the person that posted the original comment tried to make the point that she was smarter or better because of her decision to live that lifestyle when really the fact is that no matter is that regardless animals are still going to die for both mine and her lifestyle vegan or not so really we are still equal and both have living souls.
Humans are worthless, selfish, opinionated without warrent, 9 times out of 10 our science is WRONG and has to be retracted.. Youtubers won't even google search something you tell them like CHEMTRAILS, lazy, greedy, glutunous, willing to order a steak and send it back cause it's not perfect and our celebs prance around in analy electrocuted fur with their fake tits and lips and LIPsyncing. Hell on Earth. A FULL DIsgrace. Can't even manage our money or governments or personal baggage! SICK.
@meioffj thank my love! xo Animal Rights Now! This is sheer madness. Animals have proved over and over and over and over they have feelings. They are funny, smart and communicate. They can remember and they are so humble and unvain. They never eat more than they need. I love animals. We wrote a song called Cry and it's for them. People just WANT to believe they don't feel just so they can slaughter and eat them without guilt. It's all about them and they don't want to feel guilt while they gulp
we have been the most cruel of species over the years of our existence. it is time to stop the madness of eating dead animals. for those of you that believe in evolution, ask yourself why the gorilla eats no meat....only veggies!
@flossino I'm vegan and I absolutely agree that we are the most cruel of species.. however you can't compare our evolution to a different animals and say "let's be like them!" there are other primates that are omnivorous- we're not the only ones. we did indeed evolve to be omnivores- but now we can make the ethical decision to eat only plants which has nothing to do with the evolution of our digestive tracts.
FOR ALL PEOPLE WHO THINK THAT KILLING ANIMALS IS NECESSARY, IT IS,WHAT IT IS NOT NECESSARY ITS TORTURE!!!

♥♥♥♥ to all the animals ~~~~~is the torture EVER going to end for these poor lives?? It is just too heartbreaking...

Seek help people!!
gongoozler18 1 year ago
@gongoozler18 People with severe mental handicaps can't initiate lawsuits or own properties either, does it mean we can eat them?
seymourLlama 1 year ago 4
@gongoozler18 Are you trying to equate a human being to an animal like a cow or moose? If so, you are slow.
gongoozler18 1 year ago
Have any of you ever been to a dairy farm or seen any type of operation? I have lived on my family's 3rd generation dairy farm all my life and none of crap you're accusing us of has ever happened on my farm. Quit being a bunch of negative nancy's and do some research on real, American Family Farms and you might change your antagonistic attitudes!
emevans6102 1 year ago

3finker 1 year ago
@emevans6102
They'll pray that their ancestors weren't a part of it.
barglefing 1 year ago
@StumblyWumbly1 I have been born and raised in animal agriculture all my life. My family's dairy farm has been in the family for 3 generations now. We have never mistreated our animals. And trust me if we were in the business to make money, we wouldn't be in the business because our bottom line is very small. Yes there are some larger operations who have abused the sanctity of raising animals but many farmers and ranchers cannot make money without healthy, happy animals. Do some research!

u idiots, if it werent for animal testing, and rat testing, we;d have no cure for diseases, and we'd be so far behind medically, a disease like swine flu would have wiped out the entire population. thats one. 2, i love beef, chicken and meat, and i consume them all the time. mmm YUMMY CUT THE BEEF UP NICE AND WELL DONE FOR ME
durrah1986 1 year ago
@durrah1986
you have beLIEved the lies... it is because of the animal testing, mixing animal dna into vaccines and such that have caused the diseases... you probably were in one of those lines for a swine flu shot... do you even know what was in it??
the information is out there... might want to do some research before their next "SAVE THE DAY" shot...

If you had a clue about animal agriculture you'd know how big of an idiot you are.
kvnpry74 1 year ago
@kvnpry74 Actually I have worked for several years around animal agriculture and the idea that animals will only produce if they are "happy" is absurd. We have a system that maximizes production and minimizes costs, it has nothing to do with the well-being of the animal. Farmers worry about making money and animals are just the machines that generate their revenue. So they keep the costs of maintaining those machines as low as possible.
StumblyWumbly1 1 year ago 9
@kvnpry74
I am not a hippy!
You should proof your theory and become the "Führer" of your own family. Put them in a cage and make them fu**ing happy! Rearing animals is a crime and you are just a piece of rotten meat, a shame for the human race! Nazi scumbag!

Meat eaters and animal murderers have dark hearts and even darker souls.

@SweetJudith12345 I like meat and I would like to think I have a pretty light colored soul in fact I'm very sure as to the shape of my soul.
imfarmraised 1 year ago
Your soul is dead!!!!!!!
SweetJudith12345 1 year ago
@SweetJudith12345 I don't think so, I'm a pretty happy guy but thanks for the encouragement. Plus, I have a question. Did you know that toothpaste, shampoo, most cosmetics, and (my favorite that most people don't know) plastics and rubber all have animal products in them? So if my soul is dead for eating meat then every single vegan that has a computer or drive a car or brush there teeth has a dead soul. ;)
imfarmraised 1 year ago
We spill no blood and we use all vegan products, makeup, toothpaste, shampoo, etc, you poor baby, you're reaching and not getting anything in return. You're hysterical.. Bless your heart...Our minds are so very far ahead of yours, but that's alright sweetie, Your mind is slow but that's what happens to meat eaters.. Once again dear, you have a dark heart and an even darker soul, and will continue becoming darker, day by day,,,,, Hang in there sweetie....
SweetJudith12345 1 year ago
@SweetJudith12345 But you do use PLASTICS and RUBBER that is if you DRIVE or use a COMPUTER which you obviously do by the way did you know that thousand of animals are killed by the mass production of grains like for instance field mice and rabbits and I don't think that you can get around it vegan or not animals have to die for you. Plus if your vegan products come in a plastic container then it kinda contradict itself.
imfarmraised 1 year ago
@imfarmraised You are right that many every day products contain animal products. But the point of veganism is to eliminate the use of animal products as much as possible. I can't help it if there are animal products in my tires. But I can choose not to eat animals or wear their skin. In our society it isn't possible to eliminate all animal products from our lives, but we eliminate what we can.
StumblyWumbly1 1 year ago
@StumblyWumbly1 I understand and can respect that but the person that posted the original comment tried to make the point that she was smarter or better because of her decision to live that lifestyle when really the fact is that no matter is that regardless animals are still going to die for both mine and her lifestyle vegan or not so really we are still equal and both have living souls.

It's all about them and they don't want to feel guilt while they gulp

we have been the most cruel of species over the years of our existence. it is time to stop the madness of eating dead animals. for those of you that believe in evolution, ask yourself why the gorilla eats no meat....only veggies!
flossino 2 years ago
@flossino I'm vegan and I absolutely agree that we are the most cruel of species.. however you can't compare our evolution to a different animals and say "let's be like them!" there are other primates that are omnivorous- we're not the only ones. we did indeed evolve to be omnivores- but now we can make the ethical decision to eat only plants which has nothing to do with the evolution of our digestive tracts.
