A riff Tony Iommi would have been proud to have written. Brian May is an absolute guitar god! The first 4 Queen albums are so epic. The next 3 were pretty good. After "Jazz" it was all over.
@TIMOTHYSAARINEN. No way! A Kind of Magic & Innuendo are great albums. Queen on Fire is a great concert from the Hot Space album & the songs they perform live from that album sound so much better live then the studio version.
@rookiesmith7, Well, I have to admit, "Innuendo" has it's moments. I can't understand how someone as gifted as Brian May can't make a decent solo album.
@MarinStoikov Well 1 more song is "out" - Modern Times Rock'n'Roll but in MUCH worse quality. I have no idea if anything else was filmed and / or still exists but I know that a few years ago this video wasn't in the official band archives
@pittrek81 Actually I wanted to ask about that footage from 7 Ages Of Rock, does more exist? It seems to have AMAZING quality - better than the other sources
P.S. Then where was the video? I know that only Son & Daughter has been broadcasted on TV but nothing else
Queen seriously impressed so many people back then with their live shows. With their metal performances and stuff who wouldn't be impressed.

What's the source for the first part of the song without the writing from the Swedish TV show?
ptracerfastlane 9 months ago
@ptracerfastlane If you're talking about the first seconds they come from the BBC teaser to 7 ages of rock
pittrek81 9 months ago
@pittrek81 Thanks! Do you have a DVD quality source of the teaser, or was it a screen grab from the BBC site?
ptracerfastlane 9 months ago
@ptracerfastlane Unfortunately I have only a recording of the BBC website

Thank you very much. The "HQ" version disappeared few months ago, maybe it was deleted from youtube, but this version looks good too.

@MarinStoikov I used ALL of the footage which was used in the 7 ages of rock teaser, but it means that BBC has probably all of it :-)
Also some parts of Son And Daughter (basically the part until "What comes next ? ")
comes from the swedish TV broadcast, the rest comes from a lower-then-usual generation copy of the common VHS tape, which has unknown origin

@pittrek81 Thanks, for the anwer maybe the whole footage will leake some day :-)

It was one of the "trailers" for "7 ages of rock", you can still watch it on the BBC website if you're from UK
