  • Comment removed

  • I Have the same exact comuter exept for the fact that i dont have wireless on it overall its awsome but mine has Win7 and does any body have a better video card i can have?

  • I have the same PC. I love this computer, it still works super fast on any application I put on it. I've upgraded it to Windows 7 and its completely compatitble.

For the Video card, I put an evga 8800gs and didn't have to upgrade the power supply. I also managed to overclock it a lot with not glitches. I've been using this config for 1.5 years and its still very good.

  • lol my monitor that i got with it was a 22inch hp w2207h and then my mom through her phone and broke it so then i bought a new one and i just got it today and they said it was a 22 inch and its a freakin 18 inch...

  • Hey everybody! Got the same computer, and was thinking about adding a blu-ray writer in the expansion bay underneath the current DVD drive, and was wondering if I need a SATA drive or a IDE drive? Also do I need to update the factory graphics card, add more memory, and add a bigger power supply as well for this? Was worried about modifying this computer in any way that eventually would lead to problems in the future. All I do now is check e-mail, store music, and burn some DVD's. Thanks!

  • heavens no. I have a similar HP computer, and I have dual Bluray DVD burners, and the stock video card is good enough for blu-ray. You would need a SATA drive.

  • i have the exact same computer and i want to know how i can play my xobx on my comp using the video jacks on the front of the computer. if anyone knows plss tell me how

  • Is the nForce 420 any good?

  • alone... no but its made to be paired up with the geforce 6150 but the 430 is still a better pair

  • he dude that remote is from aldi or some shit like that xD nice try but i like it.

  • i have the same computer with an 8800Gt graphics card and dual 19 inch wide screen monitors

  • althought i have to say though...the integrated video is dissapointing, you shoud've gotten a 7900GTX.

  • i love that PC, I am actually getting one soon. I like the top cubby for items, i'd probably use it for CD's, and the TV tuner is a good idea!

  • i recieved mine right now im in the middle of unboxing it

  • You know its actually not a cubby right? Its for an expandable/removable Hard Drive... They call it the Media Bay or something like that. Or the Expandable Bay. *shrugs*

  • Thats not what he's talking about. There actually is a little cubby on the TOP for CDs but I used to put gum and tooth picks

  • btw, i was looking on getting either an 8800gt or 8800 gts (g92)

  • i also have this computer. my concern is that it looks like there isnt a lot of room for those big video cards, esp. with the tv tuner and media expansion bay so near the pci-e slot. For those that have installed it, any problems or suggestions? thanks

  • you can only add 1 vid card no sli only has 1 pci express 16 slot i got the bfg nvidia 8600gt oc 512mb gddr3 and works awsome but ull have 2 upgrade the power supply i went w the bfg 800w

  • Hey if your looking for a videocard the m8200n

dosent have one it has onboard graphics but you can up date it by adding a video card in the PCI EXpress16 slot its black and has a latch on it I recommend getting the e-GeForce 8800 GT video card for extreme graphics u will have to upgrade your power supply so you dont fry your motherbord.

  • hey i have this computer 2 lol

    but i need help

i realized the graffics card is somewere different on this computer

so were is it//i opened my computer up and have not seen it

but its in there i know but

    i really want 2 buy a new 1 but if i do

    were does it go???

    plz help

  • eject > dxdiag

  • thanks for the review, by the way did this computer came with a monitor? because I know some computers don't come with monitors and I've seen this happen to my friend so she had to buy it separately. What's the power supply on this one? I may buy one to put an 8800 Ultra I know that I need atleast 550 power supply or 800 watts just in case.

  • lawl same computer than me, and same Screen, haha

  • rockstar what u mean by OC?

  • nvm im dumb i dont know y i asked this! xD

  • why not? maybe you don't do alot with your computer but if you're like me I need like fucken atleast half a terrabite to store all my files, I was running low on my hard drive so I had to save them on CDs and flash drives. some programs that I bought were like 80 gigs, if you're like me that's why you need 500 gigs or more ;) and besides this computer was made for media, meaning movies, music, photos, games and all that stuff which is going to take A LOT of memory from the hard drive get now?

  • he could overclock the CPU,ram, and GPU

just use ntune that what i am doing i have the sam PC with a 8600GT XXX and i have my CPU overclcoked to 3.4 GHz and ram to 750Mhz

  • you run risks of overclocking though

  • dude nice computer. i just got a hp pavilion s3200z mini tower. the newest one that came out.

with a 17" flat screen monitor. and it only was like $530 in all. sad thing is... only has 2.4 ghz. how much did yours cost?

  • i already upgraded to a 8800 with dual VGA outputs

  • I have the same PC. Can it handle a Geforce 8800 GT with its power supply?

  • No, the power supply will fry. Upgrade your PSU to 500 or higher then think about it again.

  • yeah about 550 wats and you need to make sure it's a 6 pin, there are 4 pins too, but you may need the 6 pin power supply.

  • Thanks. I bought a 550 watt power supply along with the 8800gt. Don't have a clue about the number of pins but it's been working fine for a couple of months now.

  • hahaha maybe yours came with a 6 pin PCI express already, don't worry then. I bought the XFX GeForce 8800 GS that's all I can afford at the moment but in a while I should be buying the 8800 Ultra or the Sparkle Calibre with which are amazing, I think I can run Crysis with the 8800 GS that I bought I just need the game with medium quality atleast.

  • i have the same computer!! bought it on saturday but i have a question does your have a noisy hard drive? mine does dont know why

  • ya because its a fast and big hard drive u get use to it

  • just got this and i will be playing games so can anyone recommend a graphics card for under $100 that will make this machine able to play most current games l;ike Crysis and BioShock???

  • 8600 GT XXX check out my vid i got both those games running in my vids

  • I hav the same cpu!

Also you can use it for gaming but you need a new graphics card, it has was pci x16 slot

lmao also mine doesnt even look like that anymore, i got a new case and mobo, g card and alot more stuff...

  • Hey thx I was thinking of buying this, what Ive found is that it is a great Pc except for the integrated video card it needs a better one to play games like crysis etc.

Hope ill get it for Christmas!!!

  • ya thats the problem but its mainly for editing or watchin videos and storing stuff

  • idk why it looks so bad!
