I remember I read this poem back in school when we had to study some short English lyric by heart. I wasn't very much into poetry back then and this was only one that I already knew (learning something new would have cost me my valuable gaming time - so it was out of question). Anyway.. very atmospheric :)
I found one very cool fanfic that expands this poem:
(seems that YouTube doesn't allow links) google for "Halls of the Blind expand" (without quotes).
@malleusrathmadragul And i mean true Diablo 1, with the gothic atmosphere and spooky, sullen music. And the storyline. Man! I was never impressed with the way Blizz handled D2. The storyline just wasn't as dark and tragic, like D1. *sigh*

Ohhh man, When I was in 6th grade...this was IT...this was just the total shit....I used to know every quest by heart....good days!
I miss when they made games like Diablo I and II....nowadays its all super 3d crap with too many things on on....
the way they butchered diablo III, and still butcher other new games...it makes you wanna just get a dos-box and old roms and play in the past.

Wow! I memorized this text somewhere around 1998 I think. And I still remember it clearly...
I prefer the Warrior's reading, though. Probably because that's the voice I associated to it, back then. :P
