Cecil is the main character of the game. Kain may be more iconic and on the cover, but you could use tha tlogic and say that Meteor is the main character of FF7, and Yuna for FFX, etc.

In FF3 there was no real antagonist, at least until you get past a certain point and find out that the light world is going to shit. FF8 was still Ultimecia, and in truth I have yet to play FF9 so I honestly wouldn't know. And in FF 10 the final boss was Yu Yevon himself. So like I said ONE of the FEW (meaning that not all of them were like this)

But Dancing Mad, brings in the creepy epicness of a mad clown sorta thing.

I have to say that this game is one of the all time greats. i have to say that it was alot harder on the DS version, mainly because soloing isnt what the game was made for. at least thats my belief. Keep an even team and see if the game plays out the same is my saying. anyway, i died alot because i was in awe of how much the enhanced graphics made the four fiends/golbez/zeromus all of em were amazing. im glad to say i actually beat this port

Any version of IV is a cakewalk, evidenced easily by the fact that soloing with Cecil makes the game easier than playing with a full party.

I've never played the DS version, but I've heard enough about Decant abilities to laugh at that as well.

Does it make it any less fun and grand? Of course not. It was my first RPG, and it actually withstands the test of time.
