8 F**ng % for Final Fee if your sell something $100 you have to may Ebay $8 plus the listing fee is 30cent and Paypal will charge you $4 something more that mean all you got is $82 use some of the $82 for shipping your Final cost for the item you sold is $75 .

i gave up on Ebay YEARS ago

selling stuff on there is simply not worth it anymore.

it was back when i started using it in 2001 but now the fees are OUT OF CONTROL.

well,, there IS a such thing as inflation,, if ebays expenses rise,, they have to raise fees LOL ,,,,,,But no wonder Ebay is offering, free listings and 50 percent off ,, lol

Omg.. I had a store on Ebay for 4 years.. and I left because of the fact of Ebays rediculous Fees for the store, and the items and the closing costs.. not to mention they own Paypal and take a Huge percentage... so before its all said and done.. They Make more than I do..

Not to mention.. they only allow.. feedback for buyers.. and if i get ripped by a buyer.. I cant do nothing about it?? Thats My 2 cents :/

exactly they doubled my fees recently i had a buyer back out of a ps3 i sold for 182 dollars and i still had to pay final value fee so i lost $20

they loose so much businesses from this there should only be a fee on listing not final value and why in the fukk do they take money out of paypal i loose if i sell something for lets say $100.00 25% will be in fees. not worth it i sent them something and if they dont fix my fees hello CRAIGSLIST that is free!!!!

@deanthemotocrossman did you put in a non payment claim to ebay?? they would have credited ur account the final value fee had the buyer not paid in a certain amount of time,,,,,you go to resolve a problem,,,ebay will send the buyer a notice and warning,, and if you get no response in a given time frame,, ebay will close the open case and credit ur account!

Ebid, iOffer, Craigslist, OOdle are all better than Ebay. Moneybookers and Google Checkout are better than Paypal when comes to leveled playing field for both sellers and buyers. Avoid Paypal like a plague if you are seller!!! Selling using Paypal, 50/50 you will loose everything!

Filled out the questionaire afterwards - when they asked where I was selling - Reply: None of your business. % of one-line sales before closing stores...100%

Ebay fees are only part of the problem, Paypal fees are where they really get you. Don't forget that Paypal is owned by Ebay. I received a payment of $106.19 from a customer, Paypal took a $4.44 cut. If I use my Paypal Mastercard to withdraw money from an ATM, Paypal charges me $1.50 without telling me. If I use the card to buy $20 worth of gas, guess what? They charge me another fee. Ebay is getting rich off the backs of working people.

From 5.25% to 8.75% hike but you'll save few Cents on lisings. Great compensation!

I've not stopped laughing yet. Who in their right mind would bother selling. Have a ball reading their new pricelist.

I am astonished that they are so cold hearted about the effects this will have on one group of users in particular. They are fully aware that there are sellers out there (disables, retired, ill-shut-ins, single moms, and some modest sellers who left the job-market to follow the eBay dream). These sellers, trusted them so totally that they made eBay their only source of revenue. Many of those users are in danger of being destroyed both financially and emotionally over this.
