This is from [I think] their last album, Galore. Pure was the first one I had [given by a fine young lady] and I like it, though Lovely remains my favorite, the best song there being 'Nothing Left'.
not to be overly critical, but one would think the band would spend a few bucks on dance lessons for Tracy. Swaying and tilting one's head is not dancing (unless you're at a Dead show!) Of course, it's not a "dance video" per se, but still, she looks sorta awkward. Awkwardly hot, that is!
I find the simplistic dance moves rather charming compared to the glitziness of the rest of the video. You'd think a band named "primitives" would remember not to get overly sophisticated with their visuals. Probably the director's idea, anyway. "Dammit, I rented us a zebra and we are going to USE that zebra!" Next to that, Tracy doing the white-girl shuffle is refreshingly down-to-earth.
interesting take steveasat2, and LOL on the director and the zebra! He probaby got in a trade in a sleazy drug deal - "Listen, dude, I don't have the $300, but I got this zebra I can let you have for six hours, no questions asked". It compels me to consider the video in a whole new light. I suppose we couldn't have Tracy doing the ol' Christina Aguilera bump-and-grind, now, could we? Not that there's anything wrong with that...
Awesome!!! Tracy Cattell is the absolute clone of my first serious girlfriend in this video so it has brought a whole load of very lovely and very special memories flooding back after many years. Love it...
@crashsite...did you get your dvd together? love this song, video is pants though :)

good tune..but they were doomed at this stage..should have kept the fuzzy sound going!!Bloody major labels

I would guess that the band had something to do with the progression of the sound...they probably wanted to make some money.
