What a beautiful old house and (I must admit) a cute doggie you have. Hey, he may be a mutt, but so what...aren't we all just "mutts"? My ancestors came from Ireland, Scandanavia, and Russia and my hubby's from England and Poland...so our 5 kids are REALLY "mutts" lol!
Great job on this vid. I like the PA system idea to scare the idiots dumping trash. THAT would be interesting to film! I love watching dumbasses get scared out of their wits. :)
In front of my grandma house is a abandoned and very scary...BELIEVE ME VERY!!! A homeless was a resident once there, but later was reported by someone and the police come, once again, the house is still abandoned. Well, you have the guts to go near (or enter) the house, I even cannot look it.....
Sad to see a house just fall apart when someone could have made a home of it?!
That house if its still standing, would have to at least a 100yrs old, she would have been something to live in it when it was spick & span. Your right, it is a beautiful bit of America.
beautiful area there. n.c. is a pretty state. you're right about the trash. thats everywhere now. whats that you're chewin'? red man? i was havin' a hankerin' fer a chew...LOL kiss my hillbilly butt fefhuh!
really cool house, i have a lot like it near me. it's so fun to go inside and find old stuff. this one might not be safe to go inside though. nice vid.
I bet that house was very beautiful at one time....sad to see it in such disrepair, looks like people could of been very happy there at one time with all that beautiful property...and yes the chimney is impressive...do u know who owns it if any1?
The property belongs to a local farmer. The house was built around 1910 from a kit, most likely sold by Sears and Roebuck Co. It was still inhabited when we came here 40 years ago, by an elderly couple. It has been vacant for at least 35 years.
Maybe it can get torn down then rebuilt the same style and keep the chimney. I dunno, I like ole style houses, but unfortunately they don't last long.
Definetly the classic example of rural eerie, I like it a lot. North Carolina does have some pretty sunsets. Your camera quality keeps getting better. Keep it up!
It's not as bad as listening to you chomping your gum for the whole video!! YAK!!

Decent video, but you should probably consider waiting until you're done filming to chew gum.

Sit out there at night and bust'em with a 15 Million Candle Power spot light when they start dumping, or,
Hide up in the house with a PA system and scare the S**t out of whoever is dumping trash.

Let's see an ugly McMansion in 100 yrs. It will be a pile of garbage.
