  • these are not impact craters but were formed from gas bubbles rising to the surface during the moons creation. Just look at the spherical uniformity of each crater

  • Large craters from that long ago were virtually obliterated by tectonic plate movement/mountain building and the effects of wind and rain. However, geological exploration has uncovered the buried remains of some huge craters that are 1-2 billion years old, such as the Sudbury structure in Canada and the Vreedefort Ring in South Africa.

  • No one knows this happened 3.6 billion years ago. These scientists can't accurately predict what happened 9 thousand years ago much less 3.6 billion. Sorry, don't buy it for 2 reasons. Where's the craters on Earth? I understand friction would cause them to burn in the atmosphere but not ones that are miles across like the ones that hit the moon. This doesn't make sense. There's no proof except speculation and while the NASA may know, WE do not know what is even ON the moon OR how old IT is.
