My first show at disney world and i was drench from the rain and i was in the front row and it was it was still raining and I was in awww the whole time and i didnt care about anyything i felt like for 25 mins i was in stress free land and I loved and i am going admit but when i saw the boat with alll the disney chracters i lost it and i felt like a kid on christmas morning, I cant wait to go back

I just had a thought! Every1 who has watched the show they have the river boat come out in front of Every1 & they have Charters waving right. Well I was thinking that they should Have OSWALD THE LUCKY RABBIT on the Boat in the Front where SW Mickey is driving (fighting w/ his brother in a small way for the wheel) or under a banner that says The first or saying something else or doing something else but they should at least have him on the front of the boat & on it.

ok can someonge tell me, is fantasmic still playing at disneyland or wdw, itd be cool to know, or did disney do awaywith it like all other awsome things, like they always do, ie the msep, or alot of othe parades that used to kick ass, and repalce it with a cheap pos, ie the hsm parade

@pvtread Fantasmic! still plays at both WDW and DL. At WDW it's in Hollywood Studios and it has it's own stage with seats and everything. At DL it has a stage on Tom Sawyer's Island and it plays at night. There aren't seats so everyone has to stand around the Rivers of America. Tokyo DisneySea will be getting a new version of Fantasmic! soon.

@pinkflower12ful That's impossible. WDW's version opened in 1998 - 6 years after Disneyland's. And Disneyland is the one with the AA dragon. WDW never had it.

Sadly, I have never seen all of fantasmic. At mgm, I'm always doing ToT because the lines are so short and I rather ride it than watch the show. But at Disneyland, since they have theirs on the frontierland water, I was able to see just a glimpse of what I've been missing all those years at WDW. And it looks like a great show from the little I did see.

@G2red89 Unfortunately, Disneyland's and Hollywood Studios' Fantasmic's are completely different. Disneyland is probably the best simply because of the 40 foot animatronic fire breathing dragon.

I was the opening act the set was a pain

it took at least half the year to build the damn thing and like 3 days to move it outside to where a lake was the water effects we got down and we found out how to make the water screen and make a projection off it howeverthe movie on the screen was hard to get up because we neededit too look likeit was the real showwe end up fucking upsome of it but it asstill good

Hahaha. You're right. I can still see Mickey doing the same stupid dance that he's been doing for the past several years. 2005 was the first time I had been to Disneyland since 1994 so I was pretty surprised that the show was exactly the same and had not changed since then. I honestly prefer MGM's version better. Although there is one thing that Disneyland will be getting soon that MGM won't and that's a brand new, 40 foot tall, full bodied, fire breathing, animatronic Maleficent dragon.
