  • id give anything to have another one of these

  • hello i was wondering were i could get 1? maby offline

  • i use to have 1 like that but it was grey :)

  • The Panasonics sold in The United States are so much more powerful and nicer than the ones they have sold in the UK.Not sure why.I think they would have sold more other wise.

  • The sound difference between the early 40 series and the later models is really noticeable. My 42 is much quieter and has a much lower noise. Granted, the earlier models had 650w motors not 700w motors, but for the noise increase, the suction increase wasn't THAT great.

  • I have one of these in racing green and yes it is a bit boring but it is really good at pet hair and really grooms the carpets well. My only gripe is the hose is too short and pulls the unit over unless you hold onto it but there is an extension that I have and with that on, it is a really good machine. I won't part with it until it dies on me!!!

  • smart vacs these are got mine in the 1989 and its still good the moter a bit growely now. the ad for these was cool too m8

  • I think it will be an MC-E41, not a 44. They're identical to look at, but the 41 has a 650w motor instead of a 700w motor like the 2nd generation machines had. The 44, 45 and 46 were launched in 1991/92 along with the 50 series.

  • this was the first cleaner I realised had a agitator that spun lol. When I got home the day I used it I ran over to my dad and said " its got a turbo brush built in!" I was only 8 at the time though

  • I once used one of these in my aunties shop and it works pretty good on carpet tiles. If memory serves me correctly the crevis tool sits inside the extention wand

  • The crevice tool does fit inside the extention wand, yes. Unfortunately, they're both missing from this cleaner!

  • i love these machines though they always sounded blocked was forever taking my mums apart to do the filter in the motor housing coz it got clogged with dog hair. i have evry one of these including the green one and the 43n with hughes written down the bag door they are still one of the best with animal hair (take it from who knows 4 cats and a dog lol)

  • this is one of my favourite vacuums. I know they weren't great at cleaning deep down, but I guess it's because of the memories. We bought one of these when it first came out and my mum still has it. It still runs like new although she doesn't use it as her main cleaner anymore.
