They are both top cars. I think your dumb to say that torque doesnt matter.... My EB fairmont with a stock el motor zorst an 4.11's would rape an aurion every single time. Aurions have awesome gearing, and they lose a little less power to the tires due to no going through a diff, but its the GEARING, aurions hit 6000rpm at 60. full power at 60! the equivalent model BF falcon hits 100km at 6000.... a well geared falcon auto will rape ANY v6

R8MEX fords have a higher torque output due to its straight six, and are a better towing vehicle. But mate from what i saw in this vid the ford smashed the vt. Sure the ford may have won but by such a distance there is something wrong with the VT or the driver. Mate saying the fords 6 is a stronger car is a big call as through the 90's falcons kept mechanics happy as they had many heads to replace from these vehicles.

Around town where all driving is done, No it wont touch a V6. You got to get them out on the highways to beat them.
Considering this VT V6 the slowest of the V6 models into the 9's and 10's 0-100..
