You have a lot to learn about life at such a young age. There is no way in hell that at 23 years old, you can establish what you want in a life-long partner, or what you want as a life-long career, etc. You will be a completely different person 20 years from now.

But in regards to the "don't know who you are", there are a lot of young people, (me included, i'm 22) especially University graduates who have a hard time figuring out what they want or who they are because they've had the security of school, living with parents/school loans from the ages of about 2, to 22, so when they are finally independent for the first time, it can be extremely daunting, especially during the current recession and a lack of jobs, ya know?

Some people (like me) know who they are (17 years old) and what they want to do with their life (9 years old-engineer). It takes time, mainly what people need is the spark and motivation to figure themselves and life out.

Based on everything I've heard from people that I know, from articles, and all types of places, most people don't get into the meat and potatoes of who they are until their late 20s or early to mid 30s.
