Me: Do you want to watch Beetle Juice?

Friend: I really can't hear you, you need to speak up

Me: Beetlejuic...Ah! You son of a bitch. :)

  • OH MY GLOB GUYS.....FLASH BACK!!!.....

  • nice quality

  • That Beetlejuice is so funny!!! No other kid show made me laugh more than this.

  • Omg to all the ppl who don't know or remember this show. The cartoon was before the movie and the movie was by Tim burton aka not accurate. Burton makes his own twists.

  • @theechaoticpsychlown: NO. The movie came in 1987, a year before the series, hence the use of Day-O (due to legalities, Harry Belafonte was probably paid for the song's use), the wedding ring (seen on Lydia's finger in Out of My Mind), & the double meaning behind the "anniversary" of the two "friends".

  • I totally forgot that in the animated series Beetlejuice is a slave to his own puns. XD

  • at 6:08 it looks the the baby *puts on sunglasses* was the sitter this time

    YEEEEAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!

  • Wait I thout they didn't get marred and ludia looks like she's 12 years old

  • @Kanani4455 the tv show doesn't follow the movie. The anniversary is for them having met and becoming friends a year before the start of the show and shes 14 during the first 2 seasons i think then shes 15-16 in the later ones if i remember right.

  • @mgskid: The show does reference & loosely follows the movie. Tim Burton's involvement is proof of that. In fact, BJ was supposed to be a good guy in the film--although the original script had him wanting to RAPE his future "wife"/"best friend", even though she was meant to only be 12 in the film & subsequently near-13 in this show per her character bio--but because the film needed an antagonist & BJ was the only one qualified, there you go then.

  • @Kanani4455: She is near-13 following the film, which lead to this show. But the "marriage" was one-word off from being complete--although the "until death do you part" portion is irrelevant, since BJ is already dead--and Lydia still has the ring (per Out of My Mind), not to mention the fact that Burton wanted BJ to be a hero yet put him as the film's antagonist since the film needed one & since BJ is so good at bugging people. Plus, a deal's a deal, even with dirty scum like BJ.

  • @Kanani4455

According to the film, Lydia and Beetlejuice met in one year.

  • at 13:31 i thought the baby said Pikachu

  • @MsLambert21Rain

Nope. The baby said Beetlejuice as the first word.

  • I remember seeing this show but I don't remember it THAT well....all I remember clearly was the movie. Wasn't Beetlejuice technically the "bad guy" in a sense? why are they friends in this show...me confuzzled.

  • @MariposaBow

Well, in the TV show, Beetlejuice is a hero, but still very dishonest and pulling pranks.

  • I just watched the movie. OMG i had no idea there was a cartoon! :D

  • @Starpooch U must have been born in the 90's.

  • I wish Otho was in this RIP.

  • hahahahahaha Lil Gooey sounds like an angry bird at 5:32

  • We had all the awesome cartoons back then.

  • She actually called her 'Mother'. That is Delia her stepmom, right?

  • @verben03 Actually, in the film Delia is her stepmom; but in the cartoon she is her biological mom

  • @Starpooch: People need to quit saying that. It was never specific what Deila was to Lydia in the cartoon. Sure, Lydia calls her "mom" & "mother", but many stepchildren call their stepparents by their formal titles of "mom" & "dad" as much as they do their biological families (if they know them, that is).

  • ONLY 6 and half THOUSAND!!!!!!!! BEETLE JUICE!!!!!

  • My childhood <3

  • when was this on tv?? im assuming after beetlejuice movie came out...

  • @TheGrizzzle Actually, quite a while before. This ended in the late 1990's I believe, and that's where Tim Burton got the inspiration. :3

  • @Ichigo4456 oh I actually just read up on it and this cartoon was produced by tim burton after his movie came out

  • at 11:54 as arlo goes past lydia you can her him say "hey babes" aw so cute :D

  • i miss this show i used to watch it all the time

  • @panic334 i know me too i wish it would come out on dvd but, no luck so far :(

  • Love all the refrences to the film.

This was a damn good show-wouldn't get kids shows like this nowadays!

  • the great pudding wars? I wish I'd seen that. XD

  • @TheWeirdSideOfLife wasn't that when Hunts and Jell-o argured who's pudding was best and a big fight broke out over it and they threw it @ each other

  • Why is this so damn amazing at 240p?

  • I just started watching this.

and it's amazing how everything is made acording to the movie

exept for the fact that the maincharacters from the movie aren't there

and that Perky and Beetlejuice are best friends right now(which should be weird after him doing the whole pedo-you-will-marry-me thing) XD

or are they acctually married here?! I don't think the cencores would let that slide :P

    Great show anyway^^<3

  • "or are they acctually married here?! I don't think the cencores would let that slide"

Remember, this is Burton. He lives off of the living with the dead. BJ was just his first foray into that controversial world. Corpse Bride continued it & the long-planned sequel to Beetlejuice--the film, not this cartoon that's loosely based on the film--would also continue it too, as long as Keaton, Ryder, & Burton are all involved.

  • hey beetlejuice looks like my kinda guy beetlejuice beetlejuice bettlejuice oh hes babysitting right now

  • KISSHIM GOD DAMNIT!! ><

  • OLD SCKOOO LOL LOVE IT

  • "Beetlejuice don't ever change"
