There isn't an iron in the room on a permanent basis? Every hotel I've been in from the really cheap hotels to the 5 star kinds came with a iron in every room. The nicest one had a kitchenette and a mini stove and dishwasher. Too bad my significant other would rather eat at the hotel bar/resturant then allow me to poach an egg in the coffee maker :).
