It all depends on your definition of religion, I suppose. A lot of non-believers get annoyed with the "relationship" definition. By their definition, anyone believing/following a god is religious.

Which I can't entirely disagree with, but I also want to call atheists, sex addicts, gamblers etc "religious" by that definition - it's just that they might not conciously know what god they are worshipping, be it themselves, sex, money or something else.
