  • High kick stretching can be done in so many ways. I got good at kicking by starting on the ground stretching forward with my fingers touching in front. Moving your hips like your going into splits. Then when your muscles get more laxed you start throwing a kick above something. Getting you used to the spin, then you go back to the original stretch. The more I did this the higher I could raise the bag without hitting it.

  • I think, for high kick, you can do same exercise, just to do them use higher platform.

  • Mixing this with BJJ stretches helped me get my kicks way higher fast, I'm 5' 3" and after a few weeks I sparred a guy that wuz 6' tall n head kicked'em with my lead leg
