  • did you bend the pip or roll form from sheet metal and welded the seams?

  • wow

  • burn baby burn

  • imagine you touch that thing naked and slept on it :P

  • Its incandescent, at least 4000 Degrees F

  • the melting point of steel is roughly 2500 degrees F, so no... its not.

  • I would not stand close to that thing even if you paid me!

  • but does this have much power?

  • This one measured in at about 55 lbs of thrust.

  • they seem to lose so much energy through heat into the steel... still awesome though

  • yeah i wonder how it would run if you injected a liquid fuel in once it was hot.. it would burn cause the chamber is hot but still cool it slightly

  • why does this become so hot? and why is it so loud? Combat jets sound different. Are there real big jets for combat which have those engines?

  • no fighter jets with these but in world war 2 the germans used them in there v-1 flying bombs (buzz bombs)

  • how does this work? i dont understand this crazy machine! it looks so simple but weird too!

  • Its a tuned resonant chamber, like a speaker enclosure.

  • You don't want touch that. That's really hot.

  • Really loud too !
