I don't think its very highly of you to talk about the dead like so. When you lose your lil sis like i did in this accident you end up living your life in fear. Its been two years now and i still fear storms. i will always miss Michelle and nothing can ever bring her back home again!!!
How dare you say something about what happened to us. We lost 8 of our classmates, and they took the sirens as serious. Please, at least be respectful of the the friends and families of the lost ones. They were truly dear to us, and no one need to mock them.
@Chernabog135 Um excuse u, people who r watching this video and have been through this do not appricate ur rude comment!!! may god be with u! we do take every single drill like it's the real thing!! every single person that died in this tornado,i knew, so u can keep ur negtive comments 2 urself!
sometimes we forget what happened on this day. but it is always in the back of our mind. Everytime the wind blows hard, the skies turn black, and the rain starts pouring daown our hearts tremble to think of what we all know could very well happen again. We sometimes live our life in fear of another tragedy like this that could happen. I was in the school that day and i lost 2 of my best friend who i will never forget. RIP Andrew Joel Jackson & Ryan Andrew Mohler. I cant wait to see yall again!
i'm pretty sure i know who made this video. and may i just say they captured perfectly how i felt (emotionally) as i looked around once i got outside and tried to realize what had just occurred. it's beautifully made.
I was in the 1974 midwest tornado outbreak, 14 at the time. I understand your grief as we lost our home, neighborhood, school, neighbors, friends.. I believe in God & there's a reason for everything, the good go early, seen it too many times, someday we'll know why.
I was almost 6 in '74 and our roof was badly damaged, other houses were total losses, our power was out over a week and our house was the only one with a gas oven on our street,I remember many neighbors coming to eat breakfast at my house,
I have no pictures and I don't think I would look at them if I did. These pictures are hard to watch.
I was 11 in '74 and YES I remember the Super Tornado Outbreak, Xenia,Ohio (worst hit) I lived about 40 miles from Xenia and it STILL HAUNTS me to this day !!
There was never a problem with accepting Mother Nature. She caught us off guard and we dealt with the deaths of family, friends, and companions. We have to accept Nature and Death, but we're human enough to grieve. You made a good point, though.
You know, as a student who was in the high school when it was hit, and who lost 4 friends in the tornado, I won't start an argument over what you said in the comments of such a touching and much-appreciated video. I will say is that it's pretty damn presumptuous of you to tell us we should accept "mother nature" or we don't deserve to live.
Pretty heartless, too, to say their deaths were just "happenings"... this is no place for insults. This is a place for remembrance. Peter was my friend- he had a locker next to mine and we talked every day before and after school. I knew Michael since 9th grade (had health and computers with him), AJ since 7th grade (we learned to drive together in Driver's Ed)- Jamie was one of our French Club's three Vice Presidents. They were humans, not happenings.
i almost fuckin died when i found out this happened. My Best Friend goes there and she thankfully got out just beforehand. but its still fuckin tragic. Much love from Colorado Springs.
I was living in enterprise when the two tornadoes hit on March 1, 2007. Our house got ripped up while my mom, dad, sister, and I were in the house. We were injured. We lived 2 miles from the High school and my sister, mom, dad, and I lived to tell. Our house and cars are gone also
this video really bothers me children dont deserve to die in a tradgedy like this and most of them were how old?
they werent even 18 yet those poor kids and there famlies lets prey this wont ever happen again but if it does we all got to protect ourselves and everyone
I would like to have your permission to post this on my buzznet page. I grew up in Enterprise and gardurated in 1995 from EHS. and I would love to have tis on my page .
I graduated from EHS in 1974...I can see a little corner of my old house, still standing it seems, in the video. My mom taught Spanish at EHS in the 70's, on the third hall. Her classroom was right where the 2 steps went down, just around the corner from the old breezeway to 4th hall. I took Geometry on 3rd hall. What awesome kids these must have been. I am proud of them all, and of you who endured.
Gosh, I am so truly sorry! Seeing the faces of those beautiful young kids who didn't make it out just pulled at my heart. Living in OK I know the horror of tornadoes. I can't believe it hit this school and took away so many. Just unbelievable and oh so tragic. Enterprise is in my prayers.
I was in Dauphin Junior High when the Tornado hit the highschool. I rememeber I was stilling in the hall, when Mr. Milner came screaming down the hall for us to get down and cover our heads.
I couldn't believe this had happen to us. I grew to love Enterprise and my heartbroke when I heard that 8 young lives were taken.

May God Bless you. I'm a 2005 graduate from EHS. We're such a strong community...we'll get through it. It's going to be hard for while, but we've stuck together.
What an absolutely beautiful memorial you have created. I am a teacher in Oklahoma, another "tornado" state, and I can only imagine the heartbreak being felt by your school and community. May all of you feel God's comfort during this tragedy.
Thank you. It is a hard time, but with support and encouragement, and everyone's prayers, from people like you make it all the little more bearable. Thank you so much.
thanks for this. Ryan was a family friend and his parents are such wonderful Christians. I appreciate the way you captured the breaking of all of our hearts. Many Blessings.
You're so welcome; it's the least I could do for those who didn't make it and for those who are still affected. I knew Ryan - we had first block together. He was a great guy and I'll miss him. Everyone will miss him, and I'll be praying for his family. With much love and blessing.
I don't think its very highly of you to talk about the dead like so. When you lose your lil sis like i did in this accident you end up living your life in fear. Its been two years now and i still fear storms. i will always miss Michelle and nothing can ever bring her back home again!!!
