Actually It was Ken Brooke that helped popularize this effect. Tommy Cooper may have performed it as well but it was because of Ken that he did. Denny Hanny performs his version of the Ken Brooke routine. I like Lance but he isn't the one to follow for this effect. Watch Denny Hanny perform it on You Tube.

in the bottom of the bottles there are holes . . . thats why the bottles get smaller and they stand flat on the table . . . try working on your hand and watch out that you dont hit the glass with the bottom of the bottles . . .

Magicwrestler12, If you can't take criticism then I suggest you get out of this game right now. All magaicians suffer criticism, even the great ones.

If I were you, I would focus on cheaper routines that require practice and skill like the cups and balls, sponge balls, coins, rope or cards. Work on your theory and magic history too. Learn the history of the effect and you'll come to appreciate all the work that went into it before you and you'll be a better magician for it.
