How very sad. We were just looking at this house last summer. My kids and I took the trip of a lifetime to California with my parents. My dad lived in this house from the time he was three weeks old until he was 18 (he is now 70), his parents lived in it for years before he was born. My mom also lived in Silverado Canyon in her youth which is how they met. Oh the stories they told as we drove around the canyon! Good luck on restoring this beautiful historic home.
