I always like he scene when Jake first shows up. I have two stepsons and when I first them when my wife and I were dating, I met them under much better circumstances!

Jake should have known something was wrong when Peter Weller needed something with a little more "kick" in his drink. If the kid was street wise he would have known Peter didn't want to drink anything that would keep him from being "jumpy" like that herb tea.
