Well - it was a sad weekend but Kirkwood worked their buns off in order to get the resort working again.....served free food in the plaza......took folks up the mountain in a snowcat to get some skiing in. Hats off to them. And now, perhaps they'll find a way to get a better power station - and cheaper power! Sad to lose those days of skiing, but hopefully it will be a good thing in the long run.
Craazy! I'm glad you posted a video of this. the newspapers were completely dumbing down the magnitude of the damage and the Kirkwood website only cites "power problems". heh.

Forget the infrastructure of the village, lets make more pretty condo's that are often empty.
Tim might give you a lifetime ski pass if you take this video down!
