@ProNuTeX At the end of the movie, Kate n her bf met an architect at his office then Kate sa­w the picture of the Lake House Alex dre­­­w. The architect ­­was Alex's brother then she kne­­w that Alex had died 2 years ago on that Valentines' Day. He was the man crushed by a bus at the Square 2 years ago and Kate was the doctor brought him to hospital.

@ProNuTeX After that she drove to the Lake House then wrote a letter for Alex :"If you love me, just wait for me!" Then Alex (of 2 years ago) read the letter and he decided to wait. He didn't cross the road then he stayed alive. Then 2 years later, he came to the Lake House to meet Kate. In fact, Kate had to wait just fe­­w seconds but to Alex, it was 2 years! Anyway, the movie has a happy ending! Love can change everything and can save lives! :)

If you notice Sandra always has her eyes closed when she kisses Keanu, but Keanu always has his eyes open, he's always looking at her. Always. He loves her in real life but she's playing hard to get. Or at least that's what I believe

She isn't married anymore, I believe that they belong together he's always looking at her, you can see that he does love her so now maybe the time for them to hook up is now. In an interview she said to him that she doesn't know where he is 24/7 or even 6 months but she always likes to know where he is to see how he is. God, I hope in time that they will end up together.
