  • Yo do u mix and master full songs like the beat and the vocals in Record or do u send it to protools ??

  • Peace Probeats. Yeah I have mixed and pro engineers are mixing in it. I wouldn't Master in it because mastering uses other equipment. but you can do a great mix in this thing it has that SSL mixer in it and you can do everything in it. I will take it to Protools to use some of the effects and things in it that Record doesn't have and I want that special sound or a client wants it in PT. I have learned I can bounce down to wav and take it to the big studio and drop it in PT there.

  • ok cool..thanks alot mann!!

  • I love Record, there are two places I use to make tracks, I use the MPC2000xl and Record that's it that's all I need are those two and Record sequencer is second best behind the MPC, no sequencer on this planet is better than the MPC.

  • The reason why people would dump into Protools is because not a lot of big studios have Record, basically home studios are killing it with Record that's why Props made it so ridiculously easy to bounce tracks so you can take it to a big commercial studio.

  • Can RECORD do vocal pitch control like autotune?

  • @biggareid guess what? they are adding their own autotune called NEPTUNE, go to props site it should be ot soon. And you can sample up in Record/Reason. and they are giving you an MPC drum machine called Kong I heard it's ridiculous!
