Hi! I began to play Disgaea last week. My chars are on level 10-16. Thats pretty weak. HOW CAN I EVER HAVE A CHAR ON LEVEL 9999?!?!?!?!??!?! With the exp i become at this time it would take years. OMG. Is it like getting extremly much exp later in the game?
There are certain levels you can unlock that give a lot of experience. I never did so in disgaea 2, but in the original disgaea on PSP there was a level, and if I cleared it (which takes about 5 seconds) I would go from level 1 to level 500. Just to give you an idea :)
well.... my omega sentinel is 9999 all items lvl 200 and 20m attack when u like 400 u should unlock cave of ordeal and just pass c of ordeal its super exp there lol then when u like 4000 u should unlock loc=land of garngare and do it there its hard to train 9999 just keep train

In disgaea 1 I have a 9999 divine majin with yoshi and 3 SRS, but I just don't feel like doing all the work to max characters and items in this game, will take so many hours. Nice to see all those 9999 nekos tho, and GJ on beating baal

I just made 8 space knights and 2 paladins and had them learn 2 tera spells each from skull students. His equips were pretty darn nice though. Although with 10 tera nukers, he didn't last more than a round :p
omg your yukimaru is only level 1698 and the damage she deals is unreal. My level 1300 Galaxy mage doesn't deal nearly that much damage (although I've yet to teach her tera and peta level spells). Show me your ways!
so you are playing the psp version like i do my friend....trust me its only about equipment...i beat prinny baal and his 4 henchmen with only adell level 1....well at the end adell was like level 300....its only about the perfect items...try getting your items to a big level(max is 200) and focus only on the right stats of the weapon...like MAKAI WARS obtained after defeating baal is concentratring on attack so try to improve attack in the item assembly good luck ZAM

can anyone tell me something about the item world? it's like this; when i entered a legendary cosmos muscle with a rarity of 2, and when i entered 4 mystery rooms (perhaps 2-4 were battles with monsters), i beat up the monster in them, and it said Stage Clear... when i finished the whole 10 levels by killing off all the monsters in each floor, how come it said Skipped 6 Floors at the last part?

Yah, there is some thing I found for the dark assembly in the disgaea for psp. Get a low level character and give him uber items.get him enough mana to unlock something and, tada.

Points of interest to remember if you have a hard time leveling up:
- 1 Felony is equal to a 1% boost in your EXP gain. You can get a 300% bonus if you get 300 Felonies on one character.
- You can give your weapons/armor/emblems even bigger stat boosts by double-killing Item Generals/Kings/Gods while leveling them in the Item World. Kill one, then warp out of the item with a Mr. Gency. Then go back in and kill the leader again. You can only do this twice with each leader, however.
- There is a "glitch" in the game where killing a LV99 enemy will yield much more EXP than normal. You can make LV99 enemies in certain stages by passing SEBs in the Dark Assembly.
- Unlocking the Cave of Ordeals is paramount to power-leveling. You can gain significant levels in either CoO1 or CoO4.
- Unlocking the Land of Carnage is paramount to level MAXING. I go from LV1 to 1300+ on my Warrior with one use of Winged Slayer in the LoC's CoO4. Takes me about 1 1/2 hours to hit 9999.
its all about knowing where to level and once you can dominate on that map make your enemies harder and then repeating the process. Plus those level 9999 is a cheap trick but a great way to steal things.
Its 33 felonies and the neko trick sucks good luck beating uber prinny baal >.>
Here is a tip make lvl 200 items. My laharl has lvl 200ish yosh makai wars and arcadia's i reincarnated him a ton of times + he is lvl 9999 so he has like 4 million in all stats maybe more cant remember
no you dont need 99 felonies, i just got 25 darkworlds completed and it let me pass the bill to this battle, but since my characters are soo weak(around level 750) i cant do any dmg to that son of a gun.
The number damage mod or whatever is way to fucking high and uneccessary. this game is garbage and the music swallows, i waisted my time watching this bullshit FUCK YOU!!!!
Though I do not really care how others prefer to play the game: I wasn't a fan of the Neko trick. Beat Baal with the normal posse, achieved through a lot of leveling work in Cave of Ordeals and the item world, but felt so much better. ;)
i say we make a petition for NIS to merge all the games characters and skills and such in one game and have all the bad guys and bosses as obtainable characters and just have an all out war ;), and to make the game even more awesome there'd be an option to make it so it was like a draft you choose this character and the bad guy chooses the other one and so on.!!!!!!

haha, n00b. Why buy a RPG if you don't want to spend the time to level? Go back to playing FPS or something. RPGs are about strategy, not exploiting a stupid trick.

Do you even understand how Disgaea postgame works? Maxing a character requires storing over 100000 levels. At that point any viable strategy looks like an exploit compared to non-postgame play.
Also, if you just want to level go back to playing MMOs. Strategy and storyline are both wasted on someone like you.

neko noob. I hate it when people use only nekos to do their bidding. Its a noobish tactic. Especialy when it only took me one hit to get rid of Baal with my lv 6800 Omega sentinel.
i found it quite easy to beat prinny baal and the 4 other baal's, just level up adele and make sure he has omega heal and high movement, so you can defend against one attack, attack back and run, heal while he's walking to you, wait for his attack, attack him then run and heal, works really well, just kill the other baal's first in like a single attack, and then worry about the uber prinny lol
yoshitsuna is found when you lvl the 2nd most powerfull sword in the game till lvl 100. You must go to land of carnage to get it. You can find all ultima weapons like this, you just gotta find the 2nd most powerfull weapon in the game. I suggest you get a character to lvl 9999 and has a lot of hit so it can steal the item. If you have an excalibur sword in ultra rare lvl it to lvl 100 and go to the land of carnage then the item god will appear with the yoshitsuna.
yoshitsuna is found when you lvl the 2nd most powerfull sword in the game till lvl 100. You can find all ultima weapons like this, you just gotta find the 2nd most powerfull weapon in the game. I suggest you get a character to lvl 9999 and has a lot of hit so it can steal the item or you will have to kill the god or runaway without the weapon.

neko is a type of monster, he used the cheaty method of getting level 9999 monsters, haha
you know that level where pretty much the whole screen is enemy level up 10%? well, go there, and catch one of them, then go there again, and wait a bit more, keep getting higher level neko's until you can just catch level 9999's and then build a team around them, it takes FOREVER to do, lol, so dont hold your breath

Just level up items and characters, reincarnate characters, get felonies to characters to raise the power of reincarnation and leveling up, and kill, kill and kill (the three-K technique)and kill, slaughter and 24/7 (the KS24/7-technique), and youll beat baal without any stupid nekos. play serious, noob! get some rank 40 weapons over lvl 100 and get to work!
It would satisfy you more to do more work for it. I've done lot of work for my characters. It satisfies pretty much to kill a tough enemy with hard work. I cleared Dark World yesterday and man it was hard! But price was satisfying: I saw fallen Dark Sun and got Usagi's Jourmal
Not everyone enjoys playing the same way you do. Putting some time/effort into it is fine, but grinding on the same map hundreds of times for hours on end just to beat a single boss gets boring real quick.

its all about knowing where to level and once you can dominate on that map make your enemies harder and then repeating the process. Plus those level 9999 is a cheap trick but a great way to steal things.

Here is a tip make lvl 200 items. My laharl has lvl 200ish yosh makai wars and arcadia's i reincarnated him a ton of times + he is lvl 9999 so he has like 4 million in all stats maybe more cant remember

no you dont need 99 felonies, i just got 25 darkworlds completed and it let me pass the bill to this battle, but since my characters are soo weak(around level 750) i cant do any dmg to that son of a gun.

Though I do not really care how others prefer to play the game: I wasn't a fan of the Neko trick. Beat Baal with the normal posse, achieved through a lot of leveling work in Cave of Ordeals and the item world, but felt so much better. ;)

i say we make a petition for NIS to merge all the games characters and skills and such in one game and have all the bad guys and bosses as obtainable characters and just have an all out war ;), and to make the game even more awesome there'd be an option to make it so it was like a draft you choose this character and the bad guy chooses the other one and so on.!!!!!!

Well, on the Prinny Land levels and the last level with Baal, you can't throw the prinnies because then the level would be over way too quickly.

Do you even understand how Disgaea postgame works? Maxing a character requires storing over 100000 levels. At that point any viable strategy looks like an exploit compared to non-postgame play.
Also, if you just want to level go back to playing MMOs. Strategy and storyline are both wasted on someone like you.

i found it quite easy to beat prinny baal and the 4 other baal's, just level up adele and make sure he has omega heal and high movement, so you can defend against one attack, attack back and run, heal while he's walking to you, wait for his attack, attack him then run and heal, works really well, just kill the other baal's first in like a single attack, and then worry about the uber prinny lol

yoshitsuna is found when you lvl the 2nd most powerfull sword in the game till lvl 100. You must go to land of carnage to get it. You can find all ultima weapons like this, you just gotta find the 2nd most powerfull weapon in the game. I suggest you get a character to lvl 9999 and has a lot of hit so it can steal the item. If you have an excalibur sword in ultra rare lvl it to lvl 100 and go to the land of carnage then the item god will appear with the yoshitsuna.

neko is a type of monster, he used the cheaty method of getting level 9999 monsters, haha
you know that level where pretty much the whole screen is enemy level up 10%? well, go there, and catch one of them, then go there again, and wait a bit more, keep getting higher level neko's until you can just catch level 9999's and then build a team around them, it takes FOREVER to do, lol, so dont hold your breath

Why use that f*cking neko trick because it sucks! Just level up items and characters, reincarnate characters, get felonies to characters to raise the power of reincarnation and leveling up, and kill, kill and kill (the three-K technique)and kill, slaughter and 24/7 (the KS24/7-technique), and youll beat baal without any stupid nekos. play serious, noob! get some rank 40 weapons over lvl 100 and get to work!

It would satisfy you more to do more work for it. I've done lot of work for my characters. It satisfies pretty much to kill a tough enemy with hard work. I cleared Dark World yesterday and man it was hard! But price was satisfying: I saw fallen Dark Sun and got Usagi's Jourmal

Not everyone enjoys playing the same way you do. Putting some time/effort into it is fine, but grinding on the same map hundreds of times for hours on end just to beat a single boss gets boring real quick.
