For the longest time...whenever I won a match using Ryu, I didn't know if the computer was saying "You Win!" or "Ryu Win!" cus it pronounced so weird, and since Ryu was the only person I played with, I couldn't really tell. lol

@ElBombastico883 the megadrive/genesis was, sadly, infamous for its sound system...the best version of this game is actually on the 3do (the CD support does help)

yeah it true ryu's animation in more smoother in the genesis and does not skip frames like the snes

Never played the Genesis version of SSF2. Very nice. I'm really surprised by the music. It keeps playing between rounds like it's supposed to, and it actually speeds up when the final match is almost over!

The SNES sounded and looked better, but it only had the normal speed tracks all the time, and the music stopped after every round.

because what you see is the footage of a camcorder filming a TV.

Why do you think the colors are so washed out?

It doesn't help that the Sega Genesis' DAC wasn't capable of the highest bitrates as far as sound samples go.

Actually, the Genesis was notorious for having garbled voices. Not the camera, that's how the game WAS. Trust me, I had it.

They should have left the sound FX out this game they were horrid! LOL! I liked genesis control but the SNES version was put together much better. Genesis still kicks ass!
