We got 240 people in our band.

I use to run a large band and we had to practice in sections then we came together to play what was practiced. thats how a larger band would do it.

@xchanticochulox Yes in deed my highschool band had an A B and C Band we practiced according to chair during marching season with 3 directors and we were a 310 member marching band.I felt chills when our brass line played.

We didn't all fit in one band room. We were a crapload of bands shoved together and expected to have everyone do the same thing at the same time from hardly a 2 hour rehearsal. I think we did amazingly considering the circumstances.

they dont. this a bunch of different bands from different high school who come to play with a college er something. we went and played with tsu 3 years back and it was like this. but we was only one to play our halftime with theirs at they game ;)

@itsguitarherofrk Not sure if you're serious, but the band directors pass out the music about 3-4weeks before the event. And on the day of the event, all the schools come to the stadium bright and early and have a rehearsal, all the guard is off in another area working on the flag movements, and they do a couple runthroughs and break off into lunch, come back for another hour or 2 and do marching basics and drill.

This isn't one band...there are 12 of them (1 college and 11 high schools) It's Band Day at the university of Central Arkansas. It's a huge marching clinic for high schools hosted by Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma. They play with UCA in the stands and play in a massive joint halftime show (what you just watched).
