Does anyone know what Swami Prabhupada would say to atheists? I have read some of his books and they say he wins in almost all of his debates, but he never says anything to atheists..

Lord Chaitanya did shave his hair after he took sanyasa . Bramhacharis always had to shave their hair to help others distinguish a renunciant from a Housholder. Shaving your hair is just meekly following the orders of your spiritual master. Ekalavya chopped his thumb off without second thought because Dronacharya asked him to. Our kind Srila Prabhupada has only asked us to chop our hair off :-)
chaitanya shaved his head when he became sanyasa. you have to see it in context. at this sage of the movement everybody were monks, hence the shaved heads. it is not a big deal, didnt you notice the humourous way prabuda dealt with the question

Hmm, I did not get the sense the interviewer was being at all condescending. Quite the opposite, I felt he showed a great deal of respect by asking Srila Prabhupada very appropriate questions about Krishna Consciousness so that the viewers could receive a good overview of the movement.
Also, I liked how he referred to Srila Prabhupada as "your Grace" and "your Divine Grace." And helping the older gentleman out of his chair was quite sweet.
@OneHeart57 well during the end he did pull his chair and hold his hand as he walk away from the desk, and he didn't do it for publicity reason cause they probably stopped broadcasting at that point...i think it was just the interviewing style back then, it was straight to the point, and direct questions

I have many respects Abhay Charan, he was and still a great revolutionary.
They don't do interviews like that anymore. that's just a regular news station and the interviewer did an excellent job. He didn't play "hardball" and it wasn't about him. He was informed and was interviewing the man, not using the interview as a pulpit for his own views. I would probably watch TV if the modern "pundits" would take a lesson from this guy.
Mrgyn, of you really think about it its T.V. that tells us long hair is beautful. when really it should not matter what you look like as long as the creator is in your life and your heathy.
Prabhupada is a true representative of God. Forget all these so called self help gurus who wants to take your money, forget all these so called humanitarian or philantrophist who just wants to look good on camera. In order for the world to advance the right way, we must all propogate prabhupada's purest and genuine message which is - To love God/krishna/allah/yeshua/buddha whatever you want to call him.

Many millions of christian people like me would be very happy if we could have such a Holy Man like Prabhupada talking to us in the church instead of those monotones monologs of our boring priests.
It says you should not eat meat. Now, in the bible, God allows the jewish people to eat meat. Jesus feeds five thousand people with bread and fish. How does that work with Prabhupada?
I guess what he's trying to say is that the disciples shouldn't be obsessing over their physical appearance, it has no spiritual value, so there's no need for long hair.

So if you die, your spirit dies inside your body and there is nothing else for us. The energy that should be producing God is not recorded in any instrument, so scientific people cannot believe that person's existence .
