That '71 baywindow--I agree, the color is excellent...the light raked stance too is perfect. Great, great baywindow indeed! And then along comes the early '50s singlecab. I like the roof rack and the strap/stitch black canvas top. Really really nice. I need to button up my s/c in a similar fashion. At least it'll keep the leaky bed from dribbling down into the treasure chest. Ha!

But the answer to your question is "1969", the white bus is form '69.

It's an early-baywindow (Type 2) and they where build from 1967-'72.

It doesn't say the bus is a 1960, it says that the type 2 vws, as all the buses were known, had been around for 60 years. The bay window buses started in 1969 and had the lower signal lights until 1971. So the white bus was a 69, 70, or 71. You need to read the header and listen for the pop.

the white bay window. I believe it is either 68,69 or even 70. I think it was the middle of 72 is when the front signal lights moved up to the vent.
