  • feel like the 90's was the tipping point , more aggressive advertising paved the way and got more poor people to lift their wallets and pockets to the rich fucks

  • flawless

  • Masterpiece

  • that machete got stolen. it was called ali baba i think. till this day i dont think he ever got it back.

  • Real shit treach was spittin

  • 2012 am still rocking this song, damn i relate to this

  • I'm glad to have been born in 1986. I would have missed the great songs from the 1990's! This is a great song right here!

  • i was born in 97 man i wish i was born way back to listen to stuff like this

  • I had a great childhood and my family was good financially, i'll never understand what some go through but i really like this song and rocked this music when i was growing up. 20 years later i can recite the whole song.

  • you can actually understand the song! you dont have too decifer it! like alot of new rap music...

  • if you aint never been to the ghetto, don't ever go to the ghetto? well, you've got to go to the ghetto to have ever been in the ghetto. haha.

  • i'm fairly sure treach used to hang out outside the broad street mall in reading in the 90's

  • this is a masterpiece.

  • Release: 1991

    My birthyear: 1992

Life's a bitch! bought this album just for this song, love it

  • What happened to true hip-hop? Come back to us!

  • Of all the lyrics to all the rap songs I've listened to at the time, the last four lines are the most true and most haunting. "If you ain't never been to the ghetto, don't ever come to the ghetto. Cause you wouldn't understand the ghetto. So, stay the fuck outta the ghetto."

This is what mainstream hip hop delivered. Nothing commerical or light-hearted, but some real shit. This is a powerful song right there.

  • plz old school rap for adult only ok and fuck hip hop of today and fuck justin bibber..lol

  • CLASSIC...LOVE THIS TRACK FROM DAY 1...NAUGHTY BY NATURE ONE OF MY FAVOURITE RAP ACTS...EVER!!!!

  • Actually sorry Kabeyz...I meant to adress that dude who adressed you. Respect to what you said.

  • @Kaybez....Take note of the end of the Song...."if you ain't never been to the ghetto, Don't ever come to the Ghetto, because you wouldn't understand the Ghetto,So stay the fuck outta the Ghetto!"

  • It was like this song and "Victim of the ghetto", "Minute to pray and a second to die", "I could just kill a man", were anthems back then like rolling the story of ur life as it played out all around you. They dont make em like these anymore. The rappers now do that stupid slow whyne sounding like Tom Petty rappn. LOL!! To me rap has gone corporate, one hit wonders no more careers. There is NO more hip hop, its pure Pop Hop.....

  • I been though more crap within the last week,

Than a fly flowin though shit on the concrete.

    CLASSIC!!!!

  • Classic rap!

  • ur sound-bite is much better!

  • XD

  • songs don't touch nerves anymore like this one does

  • love this dis tune :)

  • This was the shit !! Being the only Mexican family in Inkster MI (Tha Crooked I) 1983-1994, you woulda had to be there to kno. It was no fkn picnic. Had to Fight my way to the top to keep from being on the bottom of a pile of 15-20 people stompn your head in, for any reason at anytime....

  • @313ESCO did you face anyform or racism?if so coming from who?blacks?

  • @kabeyz I dont kno if you would call it out rite racism, I got harrased by blacks and whites. With no other Latino's to back me I was all alone to fight back by myself. It was ok for them to call me "beaner, taco, burrito boy, dirty mexican" things like that, I never said much back I was known for busting the fkn teeth out of the biggest mouths back then. After a few bloody incodents, I didnt hear much "bean boy" any more out of either one...

  • @kabeyz it was more less just being in a pretty voilent enviroment.

  • who in the world would dis this song!
