Drugs, the big coverup

Any person who was able to get off a REAL drug addiction from Hypnosis was either not a drug addict or someone who could have easily quit anyways. You throw quitting smoking in with doing drugs and it is just not even in the same league. Even alcohol cant touch opiate addiction.

Im not trying to bash your ideas in any way - I think meditation and hypnosis are healthy and serve a purpose... but REAL drug addiction should not be included in this

@AlexDeLarqe A real addiction has virtually no effective method of treatment. 12 step and AA and rehab have less than 10% success. And that is about the same as a person who does it cold turkey. Hypnotherapy for addictions of all kinds has had amazing success, especially when everything else fails.

It is a matter of brain science. Hypnotherapy is getting it done, due to the miraculous results in treating addictions, drugs, alcohol, gambling, porn etc.

@WendiFriesen Disagree, 12 Step, AA, rehab have an very high rate success for those who work it. Its like saying diet & exercise don't work for weight loss. Exercise & a healthy diet actually works near a 100% of the time if people do it. I am a big Wendi fan but I would never treat alcoholism with it. I have most of your stuff and I would say it can help though.

I went through a time of great depression around my sophomore year of highschool. I was put on valporic acid, Geodon, prozac, and about five other pills I can't even remember, both simultaneously and alone in some cases. But during this time, matters became much worse. I was blacking out in class, had no emotion, and was just downright miserable. Shortly after, I was admitted to a mental hospital twice, both for around a 3 week period each.

I quit meds & overcame all this with mind over matter.

SSRI's are addictive in that trying to get off of them causes strange brain 'happenings' such as 'brain zaps', 'eye shocks'. To stop these withdrawal symptom it can take months of gradually reducing these chemicals.

Hi Wendi - Myqui and I know well the side affects of drugs since Myqui is in a Pain Medicine program. How often have we heard "these drugs are not addictive - meanwhile without it she can't live". The AMA is not going to help people in pain yet they will always make it worse with these drugs. That is why AA is so important for both alcoholics and drug addicts - we opt for acupunture and hypnosis.

I have come to the same conclusion in my studies of the subject. The saddest part is that the public is so conditioned to do whatever the "main stream" tells them to do. So if the authority tells me to take drugs, I'll take them. Why should I think, study, and seek the truth for myself when they will do it for me?
