How to get Left 4 Dead 2 uncensored in the Australian version of the game (PC ONLY)

I'm from germany and they cencored it here the same way.

I read somewhere that this trick should work in my version too, but the only difference is that I can't connect to online games.

Hey mate, nice loophole. However once you actually make the changes you cannot join any online games using it through steam. It still says im connected to steam and everything but it just shows 0 games and said there was only 7 people online. Also my appid was 550 not 590 but the gore still worked in Single Player. If only it would work online? anyway I would rather play with people then with gore and bots, thanks anyway though.

it works thru the steam libary im not jokeing but i hasnt worked on multiplayer beacuse of the fact that the aussie servers wont alow an american settings DXX so unless someone can fix that then this is kind of usless (but its very well done thou)

Well done buddy. Worked with full version. I don't know if you mentioned it but you still have to run steam before the game will play, just not run the game through steam library.

Nobody do this go to google and search for left 4 uncut mediafire, open the first link and download this and run it every time you want to play, you can play online with this download, just remember to run it every time you play

It will cookie but it will find American servers and be laggy unless your internet connection is very good. It works perfectly offline and u can still play the bad censored one online.

I heard this doesn't work for the multi-player parts of the game so there isn't any real point then unless you like the new even dumber bots...

Although this has showed me why the achievement for "kill one of each uncommon infected" is 4 instead of 5. The American issue has a small trademark from the Aussi version in that all you need is hazmat, clown, muddy, and construction workers, but the riot cops aren't needed.

Well it works but only for the parish but I think it disables other levels and when you exit the game or restart your computer, it re-censors.

I think it may of screwed up the server list because a game is never being played

TO ALL OUT THERE THAT WANT L4D2 UNCENSORED. there IS a way to get the uncensored version. if you have not bought on steam yet.

if you have an american friend you can ask them to gift you the game. if ur lucky like me, i was able to get 2 copies off of my friend for FREE since he had 2 left for some1 else. yes its awsome in the uncensored version and our governmant deserves to die. but an update MAY be coming out soon to make it the original version. just gotta wait and see

You can change the real version of the games App ID to 510 and it will give you gore but you can not do achievements or play single player.
