How much electricity would the 5.8 GHz / 30.5 dBi antenna consume? What about the 2.4 GHz?

hola , yo compre esa misma antena y la conecte directo a mi targeta pci,d-link g510 y no me agarro ninguna señal , la movi en diferentes direccione y tampoko y con una antena de 2 dbi agarro muchas señales.. nose si me falta algo, por favor si me puedes explicar, gracias

@evilpadrino Es q targetas de pci no tienen Watts a lo menos q le compres un amplificador pero es muy caro..Soluccion es q e compres USB Wireless de 1000 mw o 2000 mw por menos de $30 dollares (Wifisky ne Ebay)..Sin watts no hay senal.
