One 3 inch exhaust is going to hurt this engine let alone have enough exhaust flow. @PojeMetal....it doesn't matter what exhaust you put on it. it's about the diameter of the pipping. that's all. different style exhaust means a different sound only. pipping size is what helps your motor breathe.

100-200hp : 2" pipping/ single or dural

200-300hp : 2.5" dural/ 3" single

300-400hp : 3" single or dural

400-500hp : 3" dural or 4" single

500hp Plus : 4" single or dural

all of this is considering your clearance for you specfic car. this is just a guide
