  • @pinklawer i have not tried it jet but i did google white chocolate lava cakes and it seems that it should work fine, i have white chocolate now and will be trying it soon.

I also think it might be interesting to make two batches, one white and one dark chocolate and mix it in the cups, like first put dark then white and then dark again, then you will hopefully have three stripes in the cake (white stripe in the middle), "white stripe lava cake"? lol

    Now i'm hungry lol :-I

  • @TheB00kL0ver Thanks. I hope it turned out okay

  • OMG i tried this last night and doubles the recipe and just buttered a cupcake pan and it made exactly 6 cupcake sized lava cakes n i used half a bag of hursheys chocolate chips and instead of 1/2 cup butter i did a little less. turned out great -- i loveeeeddd it to buts and peices.. this is the best recipe in the world if you use semi sweet -- doesnt taste good with dark chocolate if you like super sweet goodness. ONE WORD " AMAZINGGGG"

  • @Princesscrownmakeup glad you enjoyed :)

  • @tanjida2008 Sorry, I have no clue in terms of gas ovens!

  • @CookingAndCrafting Oh damn. It's okay, thanks anyways!

  • can you use regular sugar instead of powdered?please reply :o

  • THAT LOOKS AMAZING

    thank you for sharing :)

  • @cuteraz18 you're welcome!

  • Will see if I can find a vegan recipe for this... if not I might just have to try yours! ;)

  • @HeartOfAllThings I hope you find one!

  • Can i use regular chocolate instead of baking chocolate??

  • @proudasian04 Try googling and see what they have to say because I don't know the answer to that. My answer would be a definite no, or they would say you could use regular stuff, but I'm not an authority, so will leave it up to google to let you know what is what

  • I tried your recipe today and shared the cake with my dad. We both loved it! Thank you so much for sharing :)

  • @2nywa2 You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed :)

i made a few changes tho, i used 1/4cup sugar and flour. Still great <3

  • @phoebemt135246 you're welcome

  • why did you use powder flour?

  • @KatieMA95 because that is what the recipe called for?

  • U r one of the rare people i fellow on youtube and your recipe ACTUALLY WORKS! lol! I just tried it! Perfect, though i wanted more molten lava in it, any idea why i had little lava? Thanks

  • @Caramenne You over cooked it, that is why you didn't have much lava. So next time, took it a minute or two less and you will have lots of yummy lava :)

And thank you so much!! If my recipes don't work--then I will state so either as "fail", "I won't be making this again" or "if I do make it again, it will be tweaked like this", etc. I try a lot of different reason and load the fails so that people can keep away from them mostly haha

  • Hi! I don't have an oven so I just want to ask if I can use the microwave and if I can how many minutes would it take and what temp.? Thanks!!!

  • @omauree Now you are talking about an entirely different beast. You would probably have to use an entirely different recipe. Google lava cakes in microwave and I'm sure you will find one

  • @CookingAndCrafting U r one of the rare people i fellow on youtube and your recipe ACTUALLY WORKS! lol! I just tried it! Perfect, though i wanted more molten lava in it, any idea why i had little lava? Thanks

  • @imperceptibleme oy, me too!! I go nuts for chocolate about every freaking day ;)

  • I remember having this ages ago, and it was almost erotically sinful. Haven't seen it since. I might just have to make it. And like Eden, if the second serving is sitting there unloved, I'll just eat it too.

  • @anmoose they are so simple and you can make them up so fast. It's like instant yum :)

  • @CookingAndCrafting,

  • Oh look at you all set up for the holiday!! Seasonal towels and ramekins to match! Too cute. These look so easy so I'm going to try them. I have custard cups and if I don't tell them that's what they are, I believe it will be just fine. Love the idea of the raspberry jam - ice cream or whipped cream would be nice too. gotta up those calories! LOL. I gotta to. Company called and will be here shortly! Hugs.

  • @thizizliz I love those ramekins! got them at safeway a few years ago. will see if they go on sale this weekend and will pick some up. Maybe have a drawing

Hope it turns out as good as yours looks!

  • @dinotoria yey! Hope you enjoyed it :)

  • @CookingAndCrafting thanks! we both enjoyed them. 10 minutes wasn't long enough, but i just kept checking every couple of minutes, and they ended up perfect! i forgot to pick up any kind of topping, but they were good without it. i'll definitely be making them again.

  • okay like wow you made that with such ease....on them cooking shows they make it look so complex and tricky..tyvm for this recipe

  • @Blueyeshining They show the entire making, the running of the microwave, etc., etc. and maybe that makes it seem harder? but you are right. Most of my stuff is REALLY fast and simple

  • A great treat for Valentine's Day : ) I love those heart shaped ramikins and it sure looks devine! : )

  • @purityfaith700 They are seriously cute. And when I turned it over, it said "oven safe to 350 degrees" ha!
