  • geeez looks like factroy  nice work m.o.d.m. how did the gearing work out ed i would think the 4 stroke would need to be geared down a little bit as the 2 stroke would be more torquey very nice work you all should be very proud what a great father son project

  • @Needmorehorsepower Thanks Scott! It was a lot of fun to do. The gearing is 3 to 1 and it feels pretty good. I may mess with it once I have all the bugs worked out.

  • You may still want to add a fiber spacer between the carb and the the head. If you flog it enough you'll boil the gas in the carb...

  • nice job. i got my it175 going the other day also (video on my youtube ch) i have a spare frame and all the parts i am thinking of doing the same thing you did to my other bike.

  • @starpuss I did like the old 175, but it was just to hard keep running and the parts are getting real scarce. Good luck on the project.

  • Great Video.. I am Very Impressed with how it turned out.. I would have given up long ago.. Ummmm, don't worry about the front fender hitting the exhaust pipe.. It will eventually BURN away, then it won't hit anymore.. :-p
