I knew one of the guys who created the special effects for this scene. The part where you see his face stretch and grow..well they used models for that part. This guy had one of these fake, elongated heads sitting on his dresser drawer in his bedroom. It literally blew me away.

I remembered this scene from the movie as being far scarier than this. Also, I remember the visuals being clearer. Maybe I should try finding this movie on DVD or something, maybe the picture will be clearer. But I saw this movie was I was six too, and at the time it scared the shit out of me.

You're right...on the Jesus connection to this movie. However, Jesus has allowed the eating of meat. He ate lamb every time the passover was celebrated and he ate fish after his resurrection.

I say stop eating meat produced by the machines. Grow your own food or buy it from people you know who grew it. Raise a lamb or goat yourself and care for it, then when the time comes, kill it, eat it, being thankful for what that animal sacrificed for you to live.
