I'm picking out a guitar and need help, this is my first electric but I've played acoustic for a while

My budget is $500 I think my set up will be Ephiphone Les Paul $300

line 6 spyder 15w $99 case: $71 Wire: $12. That makes $490 so the rest I figure for strings, cleaning equipment like string cleaner.Then a little later, some effects. I was looking at strats but can only get squier strats which are pretty cheap which'll give me room for effects and maybe a better amp help plz

@timothyga01 i play drums but i know alot of people who play guitar, so man im just going to suggest going with the ep because it can play any type of music and theyre just flat out well made guitars for pretty cheap, but be sure your going to be comfortable with what you get to man. Thanks.

And I must say, Job Well Done Mates! Like to have heard more of the lead singer and we'll blame the audio man for not puting you out front. Overall, I was very impressed. Sandman was the first song I learned on Bass years ago.

Besides the guitarrist has tried to reproduce the solo as similar to the original as he could by studying it by heart. The drummer has got rage and personal style, he really is a true Metaller

That's not saying ignore the crowd if they get into it like these people did, but ignore the haters. Just play for the fun of it man, and don't take it so so seriously. Once you realize its all in fun, alot of the pressure and stress goes away.
