@nihonzukisam Shortly after IPL3 he asked for feedback about his commentary and the community ripped into him. It's been several months and he hasn't gotten any better considering he does this for a living at IPL.

@nihonzukisam, I'm not slamming anyone for liking HD. I subscribed to his channel during the beta and watched his channel become increasingly popular. His casts back then were more natural, entertaining and the game was still brand new so strategy was very interesting. I don't care if you don't agree with me not liking his casts, but there are lots of people who subscribed 18 months ago who don't watch his videos anymore.

I used to watch HD for explosions and action, but then I took an arrow to the knee. Now I watch for strategy, build orders, micro/macro and execution since I play at 600 pt masters league. I don't learn anything from watching HD's casts.

HD casts are great for that, not annoying, making just what u need of analysis, and making it really exciting. He's the best caster with Pomf & Thud (french funny casters) for this reason imo.

But whatever, even if HD is not good enough in your opinion, which I don't share, there is definitely no reason for bashing at him.

I watch the games, I mute the casts. Best of both worlds! I try to like HD, I seriously do, but I can't listen to him anymore. It was the same as Husky at one point. Husky was annoying to listen to when he was casting. However, he has improved his casting especially since MLG casting alongside Day9.

He barely ever plays the game and hes still in high masters, it really wouldnt take much for him to get back into the swing of things.  There are tons of retired korean players right now who are just tarting to hop back into SC2 and they are still tearing shit up, and Day9 would probably do the same, even though he was a pro at SC1.

HD I dont want to be that guy who tells you how to cast, but you should have better gamesense by now. In G1 you shouldve known that Z was breaking down the rocks because tanks on the low ground is popular on that map. You thought they were on even footing after mma killed off Z's 3rd but it was so clear that mma's lack of income kept him way behind. And now in G3 you thought Z would play macro after seeing the early bling nest. Z was stomped in macro in G2 so cheese was his only option in G3.
