Actually wait, this game does have one flaw. It takes a character that is playable in the Genesis and Super NES versions... and removes him. In his place is the unplayable boss "Dominique". It's the only flaw in this version that I can see.

I have the Genesis version of this game and I always liked this one. To be fair it's not that great a game but I would not consider it bad.

Honestly, I would've loved to have the Jaguar version myself.

I don't like to bash games I haven't played, but this looks terrible. Though I've heard it was just as bad on the SNES & Genesis. At least this version is slightly more collectable!

A lazy port of a game that was made by lazy programmers. You should only buy this if you're a collector.

Quite glad I watched this video. Almost bought it for my Jaguar but it looks pretty terrible. Saved me some money!

It looks like they made a side scroller (or started to anyhow) and, mabey through underfunding, found a way to turn it into a fighter. I'm sure the only reason it became any kind of game at all is that they had the use of the name, "Double Dragon"

The SNES and Genesis versions are superior to this one but it really doesn't matter. They are all crappy.

I heard the reason most jaguar games graphics were so bad, was because the design of the hardware made it extremely difficult to make use of it's power and abilities. It is a shame, but the gaming industry learned to not do that again.

I knew that it was based off of the cartoon and not the other games. Before I review anything I do a lot of research (unlike everyone else on youtube). Sometimes I forget stuff. Spoiler: If I talk real slow, there is not much to talk about. If I talk real fast, there is too much to talk about. I loved the original arcade DD. We played 2 player a lot of it (like Ikari Warriors)

Actually the character designs were based on the short-lived cartoon series. You probably already knew, that but I thought I'd tell you just in case. Dominique looks better in the SNES version, but you need a code to play as her.
