Everyone is pissing and moaning about this product. Its not a replacement for normal extinguishers, its meant to be used for small fires like the one in the commercial. If I had a small grease fire I'd use it. If I had the whole stove on fire I'd grab the larger one. Its all about how you plane to use it.
i think that for small fires it would be a better idea to use a tundra...... but in case of a big fire you would use the big can fire extinguisher. PEOPLE YOU GOTTA LEARN TO SEE THE GOOD SIDE ON STUFF AND SEE WHAT PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO SAY NOT JUST CRITICIZE WITHOUT REASON
i live in the uk and bought some online but it isnt as effective as they say it took me 2 cans to put out my barbecue which had turned into a fireball when I splilt some grease on it so my advice is use an extinguisher
Halotron is the better than dry-chem or CO2 extinguishers and has little mess with no environmental hazards or respiratory hazards like dry-chem or CO2
That bitch doesn't know how to pull a pin and press the lever

The Fox news guy said it was only good for a one-time use, but the guy on that Cool Tools show (DIY Network) said otherwise.

God forbid that you should need to take some time to learn how to use a device that may one day save your life. How confusing!

DUD, no more then a dud,
Its a dangerous product !!!!
-piss weak size
-piss weak distance
-pressure gauge...... what gauge ?
-looks like a toy or fly spray.
A 2.5 kg Dry Chem is a good start for the house.
And a vacuum cleaner will take care of mess.
-did anyone else notice the size difference between the 2 fires?? fraud video

It actually lasts 4 times longer than comparable traditional extinguisher...efficacy is another topic.

Use common sense. Would a Tundra fire extinguisher have put it out or a larger ABC type?

its a dud it can fail to operate in an emergency!!!!!!

Good for home use-no mess. Otherwise, you can't beat dry chemical for portable fire suppression.
