  • Christian or not, Believer is still an underrated thrash band, although I guess now they've gone more progressive in their style with their new album Transhuman. Still, though, they are good.

  • They stated in a PA interview they hate labels and people just put them in a christian market just listen to the interview on myspace lol if anyone gets on their. Their just really good open minded metal band that don't sing about satan or drugs or violence. I believe they got a good heart were their coming from.

  • @777killerman

    they sing about drugs :)

they were a christian band i guess back in the day with thier first 3 albums..

but now they're not because not every member of believer is christian

    backman also did say that..

  • @BOUKEBANDSTRA yeah man i enjoyed their early christian music. sad they weren't commited. I love christian metal. your right on the members it makes it harder 2 be a christian group if not all are christian . most that start christian go back the other way .

  • Yeah! Dimensions! Gone has the best intro ever. BZZZZZZZzzzZzzZz (tormented screams) chug chug.......chug chug....chug chug.. Chug Chug..(fat man laughing)..

  • i never get tired of believer!

  • @pizzaworkout

Jeps, selvom de er blevet mindre og mindre kristne på deres nyere plade.

Translation: Yeah, even though they have become lesser christian on their later albums (Gabriel and Transhuman)

  • @pizzaworkout Believe isnt a christian band. The'v even said thats now how they want to be seen.

  • lots of space on the end of this video

  • @savedbygrace3307

Yeah I know, first noticed it when the video was uploaded :(

  • are they still a Christian metal band?

  • what a song!!

  • It sounds like literal Living Sacrifice....Their older stuff. They reused an olde sound in this song also. From Deminsions.

  • It sounds like literal Living Sacrifice....Their older stuff.

  • It has no true flow,it's alle spiny and jagged...The so called return to key has no substance. It has a glitch actually.

  • This reminds me a lot of Athiest; a prog-y thrash-y kind of mix

  • I love how we're talking about rap in the comment section of a metal video...

So, here's my one cent...some rap is great, some rap sucks. Some metal is great, some metal sucks. Metal is my music of preference, but that doesn't mean all rap sucks.

  • great song :) believer not a true christian band they said so themselves but their just a good great metal band that fell into the christian metal list cause of the lyrics

  • @777killerman Well, that could be confused. They don't want to JUST be considered a christian band. They ARE christians playing in a band, but don't want to be confined to just that audience. They encourage, not preach.

  • @tempermine Yes it is ...still in my fav 3 albums ever after 18 yrs!

  • Kurt's vocals sound possibly the best they ever have now after all these years!

  • This is a great comeback album ! almost perfect ! (except for The Brave - a bit average)

Dimensions is still my favourite cd of theirs though.

  • getting the album

  • Comment removed

  • great album !

  • I like that every Believer record sounds different from the previous ones but you can still tell it is Believer. This is good.

  • I like their older stuff better, but this is still awesome!

  • once again from the first album til now these dudes kick alot of bands to the curb man

  • Oh kewl, another christian thrash metal song to make a nut wracking skate video too.

  • Here is an awesome song; I especially like the ragtime piano there.

  • Gabriel rocks- but wait- more?

Yes- you heard it- a proposal sent to Metal Blade...

Michael (The Archangel)- 3 more tracks... the old way for the old fan. By the people- for the people...

Truth from scripture as it once were... 'bread and butter' of the fan and IYF the way it once were

I will not regress backward in this holiday season, and encourage my fellow believer brothers and sisters to 'unite as one' during this holiday season.

  • @blackhawkfan54 Amen, I had this as my facebook status a couple days ago: No more will I regress backward from that which I believe. I owe no man an explanation, expect no apology. Logic defends age old prophecies, Christ's life, death and resurrection proof of absolute deity. Expect no apology, not one regret, impenitent. No more will I regress backward from that which I believe. I owe no m...an an explanation, expect no apology. Not one regret, impenitent.

  • @DeathRattleShakes

    right on- good tune! :)

I think those words still ring true today- even through dark times the world goes through.

  • Kudos to you kids. I was playing Believer on guitar when I was in high school and now i'm 36. Some of the comments i'm reading are from people that may not have even been born when I bought Sanity Obscure. I thought that incredible musicianship was gone, the guitarists of yester-year were forgotten, and that the young generation liked nothing but retarded, rapping criminals. Thanks for proving me wrong. I think metal is about to make a huge come back, what do you people think?

  • I hope its going to make a huge comeback. I cant stand all this rap. It takes no talent its like talking to a beat. Music like this takes more than one person to make and takes alot of practice

  • also with all the auto tuned artist going around. anyone can say anything thats auto tuned and it takes no talent wat so ever

  • Exactly

  • Metal never went anywhere

  • I'm 34, where was this Christian band when I was in high school? I was stuck on Anthrax, Slayer, etc. Great bands, but at that time I didn't know the love of our Savior Jesus Christ.

  • Dimensions is one of my favorite albums and I'm 17. All I listen to is old thrash. Coroner, Mekong Delta, Believer, Toxik, Watchtower, Artillery, Forbidden, Hexenhaus, Paradox, Xentrix, Deathrow, Aspid, Wargasm, etc.

    We're keeping it alive!

  • @fishguru73 long live metal!!!! I've always had an influence of heavy music from my dad's guitar playing before i knew what metal was.

  • For sure, but instead of the cool kids liking it, its just the cool nerds, but whatever.

  • @fishguru73 Metal is actually becoming very popular again. Thank God.

  • @fishguru73 for sure! There where more metal heads in my School then rap lovers. and i live in Wisconsin!

  • @fishguru73

I also loved Believer in high school!!!!

I love Metal and Rap. I see them both in the same boat..... a few good bands, a bunch of over-rated, under-talented bands that unfortunately become the stereotype. Do you call 30 Seconds To Mars a Metal band?? NO! And in the same way, Soulja Boy and Nelly don't qualify as real Hip-Hop

  • @dapianoman76 I like your viewpoint. Rap and metal and all other genres are great, if done right, but to count out a whole genre for a few people who do it wrong (like Nelly does to rap, and in my opinion Tool does to metal) is no way to choose your musical preferences. Long live great music...

  • @jsimpson07

    YESSIR!!!

    NELLY IS A DISEASE!

  • @dapianoman76 Yep definently, him and Chingy, and Soula Boy. However, I personally believe rappers like Eminem, Tupac, the Game, etc. are really great.

  • @dapianoman76 To each his own I guess. There is a reason for my attitude about any kind of rap or hip hop and it is, as an opinionated guitar player, it takes a heck of a lot more talent to make a musically intricate piece and play it live then it does to rhyme out to a sampled melody and beat. I love a musically gifted person over a popularized beat that any dummy can clap to. The kind of music I like isn't that popular because most people just don't get into intricate melodies.

  • @fishguru73

man, you absolutely have to check out The Roots + others!

    Rap is an art even....

People think it is easy until they actually take the time and do it. Then, you realize that to be a good rapper, you actually need natural born talent.

In the same way that people think that anyone can scream into a microphone and "make noise" the way Believer does, people tend to look at Rap the same way!

Unfortunately with both Rap and Metal, the posers get all the airtime and become the stereotype

  • @fishguru73 Metal never died, man. It's just gotten a bit more popular. People are getting sick of the formula music released commercially.

  • @metallist65 It's the power of death=the devil's schema didache...His doctrine of unbelief...Do u think Israel headbanged while exiting egypt?Did I headbang after accepting Christ?People headbang over what? Yes,over not within.

  • @fishguru73

    i'm not a rapping criminal ;o

but sorry, i don't cover believer..

    i cover tourniquet :)

  • amazing Thrash band, i love it

  • I fucking love this band.

  • Lots of stoned comments on this video håhå

  • @Kermitkrigsfrog A total difference of sound hence information used...That's how things meta in eti...
