Not everyone speaks English because many US Territories have people who do not learn English... they speak their native tongues.

Do you know how E-verify works? The Contractor and all of it's subcontractors are only required to use E-verify if the main contract requires it. There needs to be a clause in the contract requiring verification of ALL EMPLOYEES that will be working on the project in order to use E-verify. So US citizens end up in the database as well. Other wise E-verify is just encouraged but not required. I would hope on a Veteran Hospital that they wrote it in the contract, but??

here's an easier standard than E-verify.. if the applicant is only 5 feet tall, and cant speak English.. he's illegal.

The unethical & greedy contractors already know who the 'undocumented workers' are, they just dont care about abiding by the law.

I grew up along the US/Mexican border most of my life and can tell you this.

Not one single administration in my lifetime has taken any serious steps to do a g-damn thing about illegal immigration... and it's my guess, that none will.

There's just too much money involved.
