We all know the beta of Blizzard's upcoming (and oft-delayed) action-RPG, Diablo 3, was... well... a piece of cake to complete. But the developer has once again come out and promised fans the full game will be much more difficult. In fact, it will be so challenging on the "Inferno" difficulty setting, that some bosses will take about an hour to defeat, even with multiple players bashing in their skulls at the same time.
This game looks like fun, I think i'll like it, but i dont think the wait was worth it.. It will probably be a let down to what i was hoping for i think, but who knows , i could be wrong. What i will say is for certain is that diablo 2 was was made really well, i've been playing for 11 years now and i can say its stayed one of my favorites of all time. I play to this day and still love it. Sc/d2 never went down the drain like wow/warcraft/and what i think d3 to be.

@bannaaninkont Titan Quest is a good game. But it's a Diablo II ripoff/clone. Diablo II spawned many different games which attempted to cater to the Diablo II crowd.
Diablo II is THE game of this genre to date. Perhaps Diablo III will replace it, but only time will tell.

This idiot says he has more than 50% of finding magic. Do you realize that doesnt mean 50 50 you dolt! It means a 50 percent increase on the current percentage of finding magic. so if that % was 1%, then half of that is 0.5, therefore 1.5% compared to 1.0%. That is not astonishing. IDIOT! THink MAN THINK! ^_^
@steveparok00 Doesn't work that way in Diablo 2 so I assume it doesn't work that way in Diablo 3 but I could be wrong. If you start out with 0% mf and find a 30% mf ring, you now have 30% mf, not 30% of 0.
Works like that with resistances too. It doesn't make any sense but if you have 15 Fire Resistance and you find a 15% Fire Resistance item, you now have 30 Fire Resistance.
@MisterModestMoose yeah but even if you start at 0 mf, you will still have whatever the internal default chance was. so if you get x % mf item, that is applied to the default variable. see?!?! sheesh.....

I actually think the default variable is 100, in which case every percentage added it basically just a whole 1 anyway. Still can't remember entirely though. I know it has to add % as a whole and not based on the percentage you had before you added the item, or else the order in which you put on equipment would matter and that... would just be silly.
in diablo 2 having 100% more magic find is like not even noticed. You need around 4-500 % for a noticeable difference and you should get up to about 6-700%.
People misunderstand magic find. It works like if you got 0.001 % to get an unique then with 100% magic find you now got double the chance of getting a unique and that is 0.002 %
What character do you think will be the fastest to get gear? i.e a fast mf char. I'm Leaning towards the wizard. I plan for this to be my job. hahahahahhah ;)

Force, If it makes you feel any better, you would have ended up losing that expensive axe and everything else anyway. Blizzard has stated that with the new upcoming patch, all current characters and items will be wiped.
So you would have lost it regardless. Still though, that would have pissed me off too.
@dragonchi26 I wouldn't get too attached to anything in a beta version anyway. Not only do they wipe all characters with a lot of updates, but when the game goes from beta to release not a thing from the beta is going to transfer to the release anyway.

when beta first came out, my hype-meter was through the roof... i wanted it so bad, i'd pay 100 bucks just to play the beta. However, due to all the content you've been pumping out, I've literally lost all interest. I have 0 interest in the beta right now. Please refrain from covering any more D3 beta, you're just beating a dead corpse.
Force, just a suggestion if you haven't done so already, keep some record of the skill damages before and after the changes being done to them so we could have like a timeline of the skills. I don't know. Just a thought.

@BlackSheperd007 Thumbs to you sir, but my interest is actually increasing. Knowing the wpn dmg changes as seen in the skill calc, but not in Beta yet, is coming soon and I want it. I want it a lot. Also if it's a character wipe, like the first patch was, then people will be re-leveling and it'll be interesting to see people ascend to lvl 13 again.
Force may not cover everything, like extreme MF (~100MF) or DPS vids (2 hit SK kills), though others do, so it's fun, but his commentary is great!
@Kuvter point taken and i agree with you. definately if they add or change things after the patch like say the way the demon hunter skills work. u kno the hatred gen and hatred spends. ill dfinately wanna see that in action.
I just think that Force has covered pretty much the gist of the beta very well. and since things are constantly being tweaked in the beta i think its unnecessary to go too into depth with some things however much i like commentary. oh n thumbs up if u LOVE CORONA'S!!!
the content is all seen, do explanation of mechanics, example: weapon speed numbers in seconds, when you lvl up what stats for each class, show relation between each point in precision and current dps changes (lots of math on that one and kinda useless at low lvl), thing is content is seen, but you can explain mechanics in depth

I think the cave under the well has an event that Blizzard considers "spoiler" and they remove the event but still allowed it to generate randomly.

Force! You should have a scroll of companion on hotkey, they'd collect gold for you a lot faster than having you run around and collect every piece!

when beta first came out, my hype-meter was through the roof... i wanted it so bad, i'd pay 100 bucks just to play the beta. However, due to all the content you've been pumping out, I've literally lost all interest. I have 0 interest in the beta right now. Please refrain from covering any more D3 beta, you're just beating a dead corpse.

Force, just a suggestion if you haven't done so already, keep some record of the skill damages before and after the changes being done to them so we could have like a timeline of the skills. I don't know. Just a thought.

The beta is quite small so i wouldnt really recommend doing more than u already have but thx for the run either way. good display of the skills. good video and go buy urself a beer for the hard work u've done for us. oh cant wait for the hardcore plans, hope we can have a part in it.

@BlackSheperd007 Thumbs to you sir, but my interest is actually increasing. Knowing the wpn dmg changes as seen in the skill calc, but not in Beta yet, is coming soon and I want it. I want it a lot. Also if it's a character wipe, like the first patch was, then people will be re-leveling and it'll be interesting to see people ascend to lvl 13 again.
Force may not cover everything, like extreme MF (~100MF) or DPS vids (2 hit SK kills), though others do, so it's fun, but his commentary is great!

@Kuvter point taken and i agree with you. definately if they add or change things after the patch like say the way the demon hunter skills work. u kno the hatred gen and hatred spends. ill dfinately wanna see that in action.
I just think that Force has covered pretty much the gist of the beta very well. and since things are constantly being tweaked in the beta i think its unnecessary to go too into depth with some things however much i like commentary. oh n thumbs up if u LOVE CORONA'S!!!

the content is all seen, do explanation of mechanics, example: weapon speed numbers in seconds, when you lvl up what stats for each class, show relation between each point in precision and current dps changes (lots of math on that one and kinda useless at low lvl), thing is content is seen, but you can explain mechanics in depth
