  • Outstanding and many kudos for the filming, very haunting version of a very haunting and eathereal song, one of rock's forgotten classics,

  • Great job on a great old song. Thanks for posting this!!

  • Man this is awesome!!! And apparently Buffalo Springfield is back together, do you know if that's true man!!!

  • you did a great performance here man. it's a very nice cover played with a lot of feeling

    5*

  • @Sitchad1 thanks

  • Nice cover of a great song.

  • I used to live next door to them on WeePah Way - late 60s. Great parties. Used to hitchhike home from the general store. Neil and Steven used to pick me up all the time. Dave Cosby, too.

  • hi mike. hey i really like this cover, I think it is your best.

  • That was great.. very nicely done.

  • Back for another listen and to drop another 5 on you!!

  • Great rendition of one of my favorite songs. Keep up the great work, post more

    Charsal

  • Very good friend!

    Greeting from Perú.

  • neil wrote it, stephen stills wouldn't let him sing it on the buffalo springfield album; "who's that stomping all over my face; ", maybe Neil ended up being Clancy as well(Clancy was some autistic young man Neil and his friends knew)

  • I Suppossed that it´s about "the Clancy brothers"

a group of Eire...sorry , Where you get this information?

  • I'm confused. I have this song by Fever Tree and Neil Young's version with the Buffalo Springfield but Neil has always been credited with the lyrics....HELP!!!!

  • I'm pretty sure Neil wrote it.

  • He did. Fever Tree's was a cover, albeit an early one. "Although most of the material on the album was generated by Fever Tree and the Holtzmans, there was also a medley of the Beatles' "Day Tripper/We Can Work It Out," which had actually comprised two sides of the same Beatles single in late 1965. There was also a version of Buffalo Springfield's "Nowadays Clancy Can't Even Sing" that must count as one of the earliest covers of a Neil Young composition.

  • It was, in fact, one of Neil Young's earliest songs. One of the first song he taught to Stephen Stills, before Buffalo Springfield even formed, before Neil Young had even arrived in Los Angeles.

  • @Solarshoji Yeah Neil Young Wrote it when he was in Buffalo Springfield Clancy was some weird loner kid I think from his home town and I'm pretty sure the Neil Young Bio states that Neil use to see him riding his bicycle all the time singing to himself. Also The lyric "Who's seeing eyes through the crack in the floor,

There it is baby, don't you worry no more." has to do with him, I think he probably heard something, and looked through the floorboards and saw his girl cheating on him...

  • Bonito y sincero,así si.

  • que gran cancion ,de mis favoritas de neil young thanks

  • Great song! Written by a group that was from Houston, TX. by the name of Fever Tree. This song came out in 1967 and the entire album was abosolutely fantastic. Everyone I have played this album for has enjoyed it immensely. Drop me a line at sa_gent at mail dot com if you have any questions about Fever Tree or their music.

  • Written by a group that was from Houston?!?!?!? I thought Neil Young was from Canada. Oh well, guess he isn't.

  • he is. i'm a little confused by that comment too.

  • No written by Neil Young covered by Fever Tree. Cheers.

  • great job man, one of my favorite buffalo springfield songs.

  • awesome mike, 5ive stars from me

  • I don't like the shaking screen effect on this rather quiet song. The song itself is beautiful and mellow ~ nice cover!

    Kris

  • but i like Shakey Pictures...

  • Yeah, now that I read your comment, Kris, you got a point here: the flicker thing is a bit offputting

  • hey man, if all the you guys have to complain about is the look of the video, then I don't feel too bad.

  • I don't complain, don't get me wrong. I just wanted to tell you my opinion (quiet song, no quiet picture). Take it as constructive criticism. However there's no need to change if you like it that way..

    Kris

  • lol. I dont think complain was the right word. you can give me constructive critisism all you want. thanks for watching!

  • You got it bro. Great cover!!!
