Haha sorry, I had the same conversation with someone else on this same vid, but somehow it isn't showing up (youtube can be wierd).

I was refreshing out of bad habit. Back when I had a really slow Win200 PC (some 7-8 years ago), every time the system got a little slow, a quick refresh would make it snappier again.

It's just a bad habit. It isn't like you have to do it because it's Windows 7, I just do :P

wow..... i just got this and burned it, it took like a day to do it all. now it turns out i need admin rites to install it

If you want to clean-install it, you can just boot from the disk and wipe a harddrive partition and install 7. No need for admin rights.

Also, you could just try to get whoever your admin is to give you rights :D

I see where you're coming from. But truly, that's just a disclaimer. Since it is still a "Candidate," it will have some bugs (that's what they're warning you about). But in reality it's the most stable version of Windows so far :D

i just installed windows 7 a week ago, after watching some videos and searching about W 7, then i got the courage to install it. it works like a charm and it's faster and love the aero stuff

just upgraded from Vista , had to leave to work when it was done, Im so looking glad i don't have to put up with vistas crap anymore, i have a feeling this is gonna be MS's best OS ever made :-)

what screen capture software did you use to record this?

I use Camtasia Studio. There are also some free options available, but I really like Camtasia. If you'd like, I can upload a video going through its key features.

Since I upgraded from Windows beta 7000, I was required to do a clean reinstall. However, I'm pretty sure that if you upgrade from Vista, you don't need to. I'll upload a video about upgrading soon :)

You know you can change the sound scheme. There's different ones: Default, Landscape, Cityscape, Festival, Garden, etc.. You had yours set to Landscape. To find out more; right click on your desktop & click personalize, & you'll see different themes to select. @ the bottom you can see different stuff to motify your theme.

Yeah, I think a lot of people that worked on older OS's have that same problem, since back then, refreshing would sometimes reverse a hang. Nowadays it's just a bad habit :)

You are kinda right! But even little kids who have not seen windows older than xp does this. It's, I think, like a toy that you play with without any reason, like those bubbled rappers in new items (popping those are fun, though useless).
